Dingen om te doen in Kaohsiung

We hebben echt genoten! Hoewel we tijdens het regenseizoen kwamen – en het regende heel hard tijdens onze kleine wandeling – maakte het onze ervaring toch memorabel! Onze gids, Captain Cook, was erg grappig en zeer informatief! Hij is ook erg vriendelijk! Hij rijdt ook heel goed! We overwegen om terug te komen tijdens de lente (ik denk dat dit de beste tijd is om Alishan te bezoeken vanwege de bloemen 🥰). Over het algemeen is deze reis het zeker waard! We hopen dat jullie Captain Cook als gids krijgen! 💗🥰

Ik raad dit museum ten zeerste aan voor vrijwel iedereen. Geweldige prijs voor volwassenen en gratis voor senioren (65+) en basisschoolkinderen. Er zijn zes verdiepingen met interactieve tentoonstellingen voor alle leeftijden EN vrijwel allemaal zijn ze ook in het Engels. De IMAX-film (~17 minuten) was ook geweldig! Ik ging op een dinsdag met de helft van de basisscholen in de stad, dus wees gewaarschuwd, want er waren overal kinderen (luidruchtig en rennend). Eet ervoor of erna, want er zijn niet veel opties en ze zijn niet goed. Je zou er gemakkelijk de hele dag kunnen doorbrengen. Waterbijvulpunten en toiletten zijn overal aanwezig en de tentoonstellingen waren goed gedaan.

De locatie is gemakkelijk te bereiken, met veel bussen die passagiers ophalen van verschillende metrostations en gebieden. Ik kwam vanuit Zuoying en onderweg passeerden we ook een paar hotels in de buurt van E-DA. Om de ingang van E-DA World te bereiken, moet je door de outlet en naar boven. Er zijn overal in het winkelcentrum aanwijzingen, dus je hoeft niet bang te zijn om te verdwalen. Met de QR-code kun je bij de kassa je tickets inwisselen en naar binnen gaan, wat erg handig is. Er zijn veel verschillende soorten attracties, waaronder spannende achtbanen, 360-graden draaiende attracties, en er is ook een gebouw speciaal voor kinderattracties, evenals grijpmachines en gashapon. Er zijn zowel binnen- als buitenattracties, en in het weekend zijn er ook parades en shows die erg leuk zijn. Er zijn niet veel restaurants, maar het eten is redelijk. Het belangrijkste is dat het niet te druk is, dus je hoeft niet lang in de rij te staan om te kunnen spelen, wat erg fijn is.

Omdat er een tyfoon op komst was, maakte ik me zorgen dat het pretpark gesloten zou zijn, maar gisteren kwamen we naar Suzuka Circuit Park. Het weer was goed en er waren niet veel bezoekers, waarschijnlijk omdat het donderdag was. Ons hele gezin kocht een dagpas en we hebben elke attractie meerdere keren kunnen doen zonder lang in de rij te hoeven staan. Het was echt het geld waard! Ik heb via Klook online 1+1 tickets gekocht voor 980 yen, en de tweede set was zelfs nog voordeliger met 80 yen korting, dus slechts 900 yen. Dat is veel goedkoper dan ter plaatse tickets kopen!

There's currently a special offer: one adult and one child for $399. The park is quite large, so it's a good idea to plan your visit in advance. If you want to experience close-up interactions, I recommend lining up for experience tickets right when the park opens at 10 AM, or for the second session at 1 PM. The weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, so if it's not a beautiful day, I suggest getting your experience tickets, then heading down to the sloped area to interact with the foxes before coming back up for the small animal feeding experience. This is because if the weather is bad, the foxes will be taken indoors to rest, and you won't be able to see them. You can also interact closely with the capybaras; watching them eat the fodder provided by the park is truly therapeutic. The park also offers exquisite dining options, and you can even enjoy your meal while watching the sloths in the restaurant—it's a real treat! The next stop requires a bit of a walk, and since it's downhill, it's easy, but be careful not to rush. The park's only birds currently are raptors—eagles. This time, we happened to witness an eagle 'bullying' another, haha! After hearing the explanation, it turns out it's because the eagles are from different breeding groups and have territorial instincts, which leads to gliding attacks. It made me worried the staff might get accidentally hurt! Finally, there's the slide, which the kids love most. Make sure to put on the safety gear provided by the park before playing happily. There's also delicious afternoon tea available for purchase nearby, so parents can enjoy snacks and refreshing drinks while watching their children play happily—it's quite nice! We returned with many happy memories. Since the previous section was downhill, the park thoughtfully provides a shuttle bus for the return trip, so your feet won't get tired and sore. Some areas of the park seem to still be under construction, so more animals should be moving in later. I'm really looking forward to it!

If you have the money, I highly recommend this experience. If you have two people, it’s much cheaper as well (it was just me though). I’ve done this in Taipei and at EuropaPark theme park in Germany so it was cool to see the history of this this experience originated. Staff are friendly and speak English. Recommend using Klook and must book at least one day in advance (earlier spots are less busy). It’s a little out there location wise but I eventually found it.

This was a fairly basic trampoline park. if you're from America, you might be underwhelmed. But it's large, clean, and the employees were nice. It was almost.wmoty when. we were there so the kids could run around all they want. We bought our voucher on site and saved a couple dollars. No need to purchase in advance.

The couple's package includes a box of crayons, an eraser, and a DIY marker set, but only one eraser DIY experience. So, if you bring two children, you'll need to purchase an additional DIY experience for $100, which also includes a gift of your choice. Otherwise, one child won't get to participate. As for the eraser experience, I felt it was a bit rushed. The staff told us to soak it in cold water for 3 seconds and then take it out for the next person, but the eraser hadn't cooled and set properly yet. It just reverted to its original shape when taken out. After touring the factory, there's also a shop where you can buy stationery. I heard that Fullerene's erasers are non-toxic and effective, so I bought some for my elementary school-aged nephew!
