Ting at lave i Kaohsiung

We went during a long holiday. After driving there, someone guided us to a large parking lot under the bridge (though it's a bit prone to dust and sand). After crossing the bridge, you arrive at the animal school. The environment is very clean. When the weather is hot, the dining seating area has water mist sprayers and several large electric fans going, so it doesn't feel overly hot. It's quite comfortable. You can sit in the seating area and watch the kids play on the slide (they provide free helmets and protective gear, and just letting the kids play there can keep them occupied for an hour 🤣). There aren't a huge number of animals in the park, but the grounds are quite large and have a very natural, rustic feel, making it feel like a great hike in the mountains. There are still plenty of places to interact with the animals, such as feeding the capybaras, watching the foxes and meerkats, and feeding the horses. Overall, I highly recommend it because the environment is really spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is also a shuttle bus ($20 one-way, free on weekdays), a splash pad for playing in the water, very friendly staff, convenient parking, and plenty of restrooms that are relatively clean. Therefore, if you have children, it is recommended to stay for three to four hours or more (including interactive animal experiences and playing on the slide). The only downside is that the food inside the park is quite expensive, and during the long holiday, the wait was very long (at the small food stand near the slide area, the food took almost an hour). However, there are vending machines available in the park as well.

Kan varmt anbefale dette museum til næsten alle. En god pris for voksne og gratis for seniorer (65+) og folkeskolebørn. Der er seks etager med interaktive udstillinger for alle aldre, OG stort set alle er også på engelsk. IMAX-filmen (ca. 17 minutter) var også fantastisk! Jeg var der på en tirsdag sammen med halvdelen af byens folkeskoler, så bare et lille tip om, at der var børn over det hele (larmende og løbende rundt). Spis før eller efter, da der ikke er mange spisemuligheder, og kvaliteten er ikke god. Man kan nemt tilbringe hele dagen der. Der er vandposterne og toiletter over det hele, og udstillingerne var rigtig godt lavet.

I was worried the amusement park would be closed due to the approaching typhoon, but when we came to Suzuka Circuit Park yesterday, the weather was great and there weren't many people, probably because it was a Thursday. Our whole family bought one-day passes, and we got to ride every attraction many times without long waits. It was truly worth the price! I ordered a 1+1 ticket package online through Klook for 980 NTD, and the second set was even more discounted, costing only 900 NTD after an 80 NTD reduction. That saved us a lot compared to buying tickets at the gate!

I have to give it 5-stars based on value for your money. Seniors (65+) and primary school kids are free, and adults are less than $2! I paid extra for the little zoo tram as it was crazy hot, hundreds of school kids, and the monkeys are no joke! stole a water bottle right out of a boy’s hand in a big school group (ran off with it)! The best part was the water area, like a splash pad. Although older and rundown, it did the job of cooling us off. There’s 3 areas, with rain water coming from above, and two shallow areas maybe 1-4 inches of water. Animals weren’t too active due to heat/sun. Don’t recommend eating here as not many options, nor good quality.

Entrébilletten koster det samme som at købe på stedet. Hurtig og nem indløsning. Det er et meget smukt sted, og det kan anbefales at besøge. Man kan gå til færgehavnen i nærheden og tage en bådtur for at besøge Cijin-øen i samme omgang.

If you have the money, I highly recommend this experience. If you have two people, it’s much cheaper as well (it was just me though). I’ve done this in Taipei and at EuropaPark theme park in Germany so it was cool to see the history of this this experience originated. Staff are friendly and speak English. Recommend using Klook and must book at least one day in advance (earlier spots are less busy). It’s a little out there location wise but I eventually found it.
