University of Oxford tours

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad, alles was goed georganiseerd. Zowel Oxford als de WB Studio zijn een bezoek waard. De tijd was voldoende. In Oxford hebben we in onze vrije tijd goedkope en heerlijke pasteitjes en scotched eggs gegeten bij een slagerij in de overdekte markt. Er zijn overal voldoende toiletten. Het enige wat ik niet leuk vond, was hoe commercieel de WB Studio was; er zijn tal van mogelijkheden om veel merchandise, eten en extra foto's te kopen. Boterbier is erg zoet en de mok die je erbij krijgt is van plastic.

A great day trip to be remembered, with great driver aka guide (Lalji), and the companies punctual, which is rather important for a trip that’s has a bit of distance to cover. two little towns of Cotswold didn’t impress me, but Oxfords was magnificent. I like the map given, that helps with the two hour trip.

Amanda, our tour guide, and Harrsan, our driver, under Golden Tour were both incredibly responsible and made our trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford such an enjoyable experience. They were very knowledgeable and communicated fluently in both English and Mandarin, which made everything so much easier. We truly appreciated their professionalism and warm hospitality. Highly recommended! 😊

Zowel Cambridge als Oxford waren prachtig, gelegen op 2 uur rijden (met de bus) van Londen. Onze gids was Dan en ze was erg duidelijk en informatief. De bus was comfortabel. Ik persoonlijk geef de voorkeur aan Cambridge boven Oxford vanwege de minder grote drukte. Er was beperkte tijd om elke plaats te verkennen. Over het algemeen was deze dagtocht plezierig.

We enjoyed visiting Oxford and appreciated the informative commentary during the bus journey, thanks to Pablo. However, we were very disappointed that the Cotswolds were not actually visited, despite the Cotswolds being prominently included in the tour’s marketing and itinerary. This was particularly frustrating because we booked the tour expecting to experience the Cotswolds as advertised. We also found that some of the attractions mentioned in the itinerary required additional entrance fees, which were not made sufficiently clear at the time of booking. The tour operator should be much more transparent and accurate in its marketing. If the Cotswolds are not actually included as a destination, this should be clearly stated to avoid misleading travelers. The tour had some enjoyable and informative moments, but unfortunately, the difference between what was advertised and what was actually delivered significantly affected our overall experience.
