Dingen om te doen in Mount Usu

It was a trip where I truly experienced the magnificent nature of Hokkaido! Our guide, Hikaru, provided detailed explanations and even shared some funny jokes, making sure there was never a dull moment. Thank you for making this such an enjoyable trip!

I took the trip with hide cai. I liked the pace and the sites were what I wanted to see. The tour guide spoke English well and was able to provide valuable information about the sites that we visited. The weather also cooperated today and we did not encounter any rain.

Onze gids, Alex, was geweldig en hielp velen van ons met het maken van foto's. Hij deelde ook stukjes informatie over de attracties die we bezochten, zowel in het Engels als in het Chinees. De toegewezen tijden voor elke attractie waren ook precies goed. Voor degenen zonder eigen vervoer was dit het geld zeker waard.

We had a wonderful day trip exploring Noboribetsu Hell Valley, Lake Toya, Mount Usu, and the Bear Ranch. A huge shoutout to our guide, Lucy, who was so informative and went out of her way to help us get some wonderful photos. The sights were a real highlight and made for a fantastic day out. The only minor drawback was the transport, as the bus felt a bit cramped for a long-distance journey. Making the seating a bit more spacious would make the ride much more comfortable, but overall it was a really memorable experience thanks to Lucy and the amazing itinerary!

He was friendly, attentive, and always made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip. One thing I especially appreciated was how he took beautiful photos for each of us at every location, helping us capture unforgettable memories from the tour. Our tour guide, Ella, was very professional in her explanations and helped us purchase tickets. Her time management was excellent, allowing us to visit sites efficiently. I give her five stars. My main concern was that the mini-bus drove extremely fast. It was the fastest I've experienced in Japan (we didn't even take the highway on this trip). Combined with numerous potholes and hairpin turns, the vehicle often vibrated. On the return night drive, I was frequently worried about the speed affecting our safety. Perhaps the packed itinerary meant the driver had to rush. As other reviews have mentioned, the bear farm isn't a necessary stop. Also, the Lake Toya fireworks were very small and lacked music. If you've seen other artistic fireworks displays in Japan, you might not need to include the Lake Toya fireworks on your viewing list.

Ik heb onlangs deze eendaagse tour naar Lake Toya en Lake Shikotsu gedaan, en het was het geld absoluut waard. Het is een zeer goed gepland reisschema waardoor we binnen één dag verschillende van Hokkaido's mooiste natuurlijke bezienswaardigheden konden zien zonder ons overhaast te voelen. Onze gids, Xixi, was fantastisch. Ze was ongelooflijk deskundig en deed haar uiterste best om de reis onvergetelijk te maken. Ze gaf niet alleen geweldig commentaar op de bezienswaardigheden die we bezochten, maar deelde ook een schat aan 'insider'-aanbevelingen voor andere locaties om te bezoeken in Hokkaido en wees ons de weg naar de 'beste in zijn soort'-restaurants voor lokale gerechten.
