Dingen om te doen in Quinta da Regaleira

A truly beautiful experience. The palace is only impressive from the outside; the inside is just okay. The real highlight is the gardens. Winding paths and dreamy spots. You could spend hours there.

Mijn gids was Valerio en hij was erg behulpzaam en meegaand tijdens de tour. Hij zorgde heel goed voor ons en gaf waardevolle informatie als we goed eten, desserts, winkels, enz. nodig hadden. Over het algemeen heb ik tot nu toe genoten van mijn tour!

De gidsen Ricardo en Maria waren erg spraakzaam en deskundig. Ik zat in de groep van Maria en zij wist de literaire en spirituele aspecten van Portugal in de rondleiding te verwerken, waardoor we niet alleen bezienswaardigheden bezochten, maar ook een diepere dialoog aangingen met de omgeving en onszelf. Dankzij hun organisatie was de laatste stop Cabo da Roca. Als je er zelf met de auto naartoe zou gaan, zou het lang duren. Ik raad iedereen aan om snel te lopen en deel te nemen aan een dagtocht.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience on the Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira tour. The whole day was well organized, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the trip. Pena Palace was absolutely beautiful, and Quinta da Regaleira was also a highlight, especially the gardens and the famous Initiation Well. The transportation was comfortable and made it much easier to visit everything in one day. There was quite a lot of walking and some steep areas, but it was definitely worth it. Overall, it was a great way to explore Sintra, and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Our day on excursion was amazing! Beautiful day in Sintra with 2 historic palace . We have such a amazing tour guide Gustavo,very nice and polite with a lot of knowledge about history! All recommendations for tour and Gustavo the man!

Sintra is a extremely hilly environment that requires precise navigation. Manuel was an excellent guide due to growing up in the Sintra. The jeep had issues but we had a backup modern SUV to take us around. We were able to catch a glimpse of Sintra, the furthest west of Europe light tower, and a nice fishing village with a beach to explore briefly. The only negative I have is that to catch a real good glimpse of pena palace or regalaria - you must get out and buy tickets to get inside and see the beauty - this is a completely separate experience. The tour only catches a brief glimpse for quick touring purposes for elderly individuals or families with kids. My suggestion Manuel is possibly ditching either the tower or fishing village - and adding in the walking experience of exploring the pena place or regalaria.
