Fantastische stadstour door Kota Kinabalu! Het touroperatorsbedrijf nam vooraf duidelijk contact met ons op via WhatsApp, waardoor alles gemakkelijk en zorgeloos verliep. Onze gids, mevrouw Yee, was ontzettend vriendelijk en vrolijk! Hoewel ons Engels niet perfect is, gebruikte ze een vertaalapp, gebaren en veel glimlachen om met ons te communiceren. Mijn vrouw en ik hebben zo'n leuke tijd gehad dankzij haar! Onze chauffeur, meneer Max, was ook erg professioneel, met een veilige en soepele rit gedurende de hele tour. De tour is kort maar bestrijkt de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van Kota Kinabalu op een efficiënte manier. Een perfecte kennismaking met de stad en een absolute aanrader voor een eerste bezoek! In a group of about 20-30 people, only two of us were Japanese. Most of the participants were Chinese, and the tour was primarily conducted in Chinese. However, our guide made sure to explain things to us in English whenever necessary and constantly looked out for us. The high-speed cruise ship took a little over an hour to reach the island. It was incredibly fast and quite bumpy! 😂 But because the ship was so fast, we didn't even have time to get seasick, which was a plus, haha. The guides played music on board, making the travel time enjoyable. The island facilities were new and clean. Toilets, shower rooms, and even hair dryers were available, ensuring a comfortable stay. Before snorkeling, there was a safety briefing. For the two of us, a staff member provided a one-on-one explanation, showing us translated safety precautions in Japanese. They also checked repeatedly to ensure we understood everything, and we felt that safety was very well-considered. For snorkeling, the boat took us to two different spots. The ocean was truly beautiful and amazing! 🐠 The guides constantly checked on us, ensuring our safety while also making sure we had a great time. After returning to the island, a luxurious meal of crab, shrimp, and other dishes was prepared, and drinks were available freely 🦀🦐. Afterward, we had free time. We relaxed under a parasol on the beach. When it was time, we boarded the super-fast cruise ship again for the return journey. Since it was an early morning tour, we were quite tired by the time we headed back, but it was a fulfilling day nonetheless. My only regret is that I forgot to give a tip to our kind guide when we left. They were so helpful until the very end. Since about 90% of the participants are Chinese, Japanese participants might feel a little uneasy at first if they join alone. However, there were many guides and staff members who paid very close attention to us Japanese participants, so in the end, we had a wonderful time without any worries. The ocean was beautiful, snorkeling was fun, and the food was luxurious. Above all, the warm support from all the staff left a lasting impression. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who might be hesitant because of the small number of Japanese participants! 🌴🐠✨

Our tour guide this time was Little Bear 🐻, along with many enthusiastic crew members. The boat was in excellent condition—new and very clean. Both the upper and lower decks were great for taking photos, and you could move around freely. First, the yacht departed for the water club to drop off our belongings. Then, a speedboat took everyone to Saphi Island for about 30 minutes to wade in the water and take pictures. Afterward, we returned to the water club to enjoy the slide, snorkeling, and SUP (these three activities were free). Staff members were present throughout, ensuring safety. If you purchased other water activities, you would be taken to a more distant location to enjoy them. For lunch, there was a simple buffet. I think it's a great place to relax. Highly recommend!

Itinerary: The length was just right. Safety: Very safe. Scenery: Diverse, and we even saw the Rafflesia flower, enjoyed fish spa by the lake, and tasted wild boar meat. It was very interesting and unforgettable. Facilities provided: ATV and skydiving safety measures were excellent, making it very fun and exciting. A fulfilling day with a packed schedule. Tour Guide: Xiao Mei was professional, attentive, and patient, following up throughout the trip and being very thoughtful. Lunch: Freshly cooked and delicious, with cold drinks and fresh fruit. Very good. The day before departure, all important information was sent via WhatsApp, which was very thoughtful. It was a great travel experience. The one-day Mount Kinabalu tour includes a variety of activities and is a must-do for anyone visiting Sabah. Highly recommended.

Aangezien ik en mijn medereiziger chocoladeliefhebbers zijn, hebben wij het meest genoten van de Sabah chocoladefabriek.

We hadden een geweldige ervaring met onze chauffeur tijdens onze halve dag KK stadstour. Chauffeur de heer Mok was buitengewoon vriendelijk, behulpzaam en attent gedurende de hele reis.

We konden de levensstijlen en het eten van elke stam ervaren. De uitleg van de gids was gemakkelijk te begrijpen en hij deelde tijdens onze reizen verschillende verhalen over Sabah, waardoor we ons geen moment verveelden.

Overall, had a great day snorkeling at 3 different spots. Managed to see some nemo fishes!! Expect that there will be some wait time in the morning before getting onto the boats. But every other time when the boat picks us up after the snorkeling/diving sessions, it’s a very easy process to follow. We had Chong as our snorkeling guide who was very helpful to point out where certain fishes are so we were able to catch a glimpse of the sea creatures and enjoy our time more. The lunch provided was simple but pretty good — had the mushroom and chicken rice. I can’t remember the other driving guide and boat driver’s name but they were great too. Thank you to this team:)
