We hebben twee dagen voor vertrek via WhatsApp contact opgenomen met het reisbureau en ontvingen de treinkaartjes en reisinformatie een dag voor vertrek. Op de dag van de reis haalde de gids ons stipt om 3:30 uur 's ochtends op bij het hotel om naar het treinstation te gaan. Bij aankomst in Aguas Calientes stond de hostelmedewerker ons al op te wachten en bracht ons naar het hostel om uit te rusten. Daarna hadden we vrije tijd om Aguas Calientes te verkennen, te lunchen en souvenirs te kopen! De volgende ochtend, nog voor zonsopgang, had de medewerker al een eenvoudig ontbijt voor ons klaargemaakt. Gids Stiven kwam stipt op tijd naar het hostel om ons en de andere groepsleden op te halen voor de busrit de berg op. Het uitzicht onderweg was prachtig! We hadden veel geluk met het weer; eenmaal boven hadden we een zeer helder uitzicht. Gids Stiven was zeer deskundig, gaf uitstekende uitleg in het Spaans en Engels, en gaf ons voldoende tijd om foto's te maken. De tour eindigde 's middags, dus we hadden nog een paar uur om te lunchen voordat we onze bagage ophaalden bij het hostel en Aguas Calientes verlieten. De hele tour bood een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding, een absolute aanrader!

Het was een uitstekende keuze om deze gids in te huren voor onze reis naar Machu Picchu. Allereerst was de service in verhouding tot de prijs uitzonderlijk, en ik was verrast door de goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. De lunch op de eerste dag was heerlijk, en de uitleg van de gids was zeer grondig, waardoor we de ruïnes konden verkennen met een diep begrip van de historische achtergrond. Het was een zeer bevredigende ervaring op het gebied van kennis. Wat vooral geweldig was, is dat de gids ons ruim de tijd gaf totdat we tevreden waren. We werden helemaal niet opgejaagd, zoals bij groepstours, en konden volop genieten van het uitzicht. Ik ben ook erg dankbaar voor de toegewijde ondersteuning gedurende de hele tour. Toen ik iets vergat, hielp de gids me zonder enige tegenzin en met veel inzet zoeken. Tijdens de trekking werden er veel foto's gemaakt op prachtige uitzichtpunten en zorgde de gids voor een levendige sfeer, waardoor we echt genoten van de wandeling zelf. De gids stond ons van begin tot eind constant bij, en dankzij deze gids is het een onvergetelijke en prachtige reis geworden.

trip from cusco to rainbow mountain is quite bumpy, but it's breathtaking spot to go. and the guide is friendly and bilingual. overall, it's a awesome experience

I highly recommend this itinerary. We visited two historical sites in two days and one night. The handicraft market itself was a bit like the stalls you see outside tourist attractions, but the transportation for the entire tour was very well arranged. Even though the train was significantly delayed, they patiently waited to take us home. We were able to enjoy every stop without worry. Thumbs up! However, I personally suggest allowing for some free time before and after the trip to rest, otherwise, the tight schedule and travel can be quite tiring!

On the day of my flight, there was a drill that prevented us from taking off on time. The vendor did not inform me of this in advance, and I almost missed my shuttle to the airport after the event. I waited to board the flight with a lot of anxiety and questions, which really detracted from the overall experience. However, the flight itself was smooth, and the GoPro recording was clear.

Highly recommended cultural tour in Cusco. It’s good value for money, and the tour guide was excellent—very knowledgeable and gave detailed explanations at every stop, especially about Inca history and culture. Everything was well explained and easy to understand. After the trip, I became even more interested in learning about Cusco. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

Had een geweldige ervaring. Chef-kok Joseph, souschef JJ en medewerker Anita maakten onze ervaring onvergetelijk. Beveel deze activiteit ten zeerste aan. Joseph en JJ hielden ons de hele tijd bezig en deelden ook inzichten over Peru. Hun kennis over India was prijzenswaardig. Het was een erg leuke ervaring.

Dit was een zeer verrassende reis (in positieve zin). Het was in elk opzicht uitstekend... de maaltijdservice en de stopplaatsen... alles verliep soepel en goed, van het ophalen bij het hotel tot de terugkeer... de familie heeft er echt van genoten... hartelijk dank voor alles.

Loved the whole experience from the pickup from our hotel,riding the Perurail train,to seeing Machu Picchu in real life. Will book with this tour again in the future if given a chance.

The guided tour offers excellent value for money and comes highly recommended. In just 12 hours, we visited several worthwhile attractions and took many beautiful photos. We were very lucky to have great weather, and the natural scenery was stunning. Our guide, Wilan, provided concise and informative commentary and even offered to take pictures for us. Lunch was a very generous buffet, and if you don't mind the cold, you can sit on the balcony for a beautiful view.

The tour was very challenging but the view was all worth it. Miguel was very helpful. Thank you.

the only negative thing I have to say is that I would've liked for the company to get in communication with me at least 24 hours beforehand versus 12 hours. otherwise the market tour is brief and informative. the majority of the time is spent in the Haku kitchen if not in traffic. Tour guide Stefano does a good job translating Chef Marcos for the kitchen experience. I was able to try a potato tasting as well as exotic fruit tasting. the appetizer i made was causa and the main was lomo saltado. it's a very hands-on experience and kept small, my group was of 5. would highly recommend this experience to others for their first time in Lima.
