Ubud Raften

The rafting company I booked was much cheaper than the one recommended by the Ubud resort staff, and I booked it trusting the many reviews! LILA, a Sun Tour employee, contacted me via WhatsApp the night before to provide pickup information, and the round trip transportation was safe and comfortable. The staff at Tarantula Rafting, the rafting and ATV company, were very fun and friendly. The rafting was calmer than Korean rivers, but still fun, and the ATV was really fun!!! Indonesian buffet was served for lunch, and my wife and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Dit is een van de hoogtepunten van onze ubud bali-ervaring! Red Paddle Bali Adventures en onze gids, Di, waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij gaf duidelijke instructies voordat we met de activiteit begonnen. We hadden plezier tijdens het raften en hij weet echt hoe hij ons kan laten genieten. Hij maakt ook goede foto's en had zoveel leuke weetjes en interessante verhalen te delen. Hij bracht ook een waterdichte tas mee voor onze spullen en hielp ons met alles wat we nodig hadden. Tijdens het raften was er een stop waar we drankjes en snacks konden kopen. Di betaalde het voor ons, dus het was niet nodig om geld mee te nemen, we betaalden hem achteraf terug. Voor de services heeft Red Paddle een goede en schone plek om je om te kleden voor het raften en ook om te douchen na de activiteit. Ze geven ook lekker ruikende handdoeken en badgel. Onze lunch in buffetvorm voelde als een zelfgemaakte Indonesische maaltijd! Over het algemeen was het een erg leuke ervaring en zeker een kernherinnering voor ons! De klook-prijs is ook zeer betaalbaar, vooral met hoteltransfer. Zo blij dat we het geboekt hebben!

We experienced rafting with our 9 and 12 year old children. It's perfect for kids to enjoy. Even I, who am easily scared, had fun. You can buy drinks in the middle and pay later. (It's expensive!) The shower facilities are decent and towels are included. For lunch, they served mie goreng and nasi goreng, which were not bad. After the meal, we went to Monkey Forest to see monkeys and take pictures. It's smaller than I expected and there aren't many things to see, so I think rafting alone would have been enough.

Supper awesome experience Made was an amazing driver and all the guides where very good they really make a big effort to make it as enjoyable as possible. The ATV trip is a must do soooo much fun and the Cave tubes is very nice and bit slower than river rafting good activity to enjoy with kids. The guides are very very good at taking pictures and videos if you ask.

We proceeded with the 2-person option with the satisfaction guarantee. Ayung River rafting is fun. Satisfied, but the product details state that a waterproof bag is provided, but only a plastic bag is available. Bring your own waterproof bag. There are a lot of stairs, but it's manageable if you move slowly. The shower facilities are not very good. Lockers require a 50k deposit. Lunch is so-so. I added an aroma massage, and I was satisfied with the facilities and quality. For the Ubud tour, they drop you off in the city for about an hour to see the market and the palace. It would be nice if they gave an explanation, but there is none at all. We went to a coffee plantation instead of the Tegalalang Rice Terraces. I am satisfied here, it's not crowded and the scenery is good. I was satisfied with the time spent tasting the tester coffees and teas while looking at the rice field view. However, if you buy something, the product price seems a bit expensive. I bought it. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the tour service. It felt more like a driver than a guide. However, I was able to travel comfortably thanks to his careful and considerate attitude. Overall, I highly recommend it.

De instructeur zorgde ervoor dat we altijd veilig waren en op schema lagen. De locatie van de baan was erg uitdagend, maar leuk!

River tubing was uitstekend en het personeel was erg vriendelijk en attent. We boekten een retour shuttle service vanaf ons hotel en de chauffeur was ook erg stipt en beleefd. Zeker een aanrader!

Alles was goed. Geen stop voor een waterpauze, gewoon doorgaan en plezier hebben. De douche en het toilet zijn schoon en er is een kluisje om onze spullen in op te bergen. De lunch werd verzorgd en was goed met veel variatie. We komen zeker terug voor andere activiteiten. 👍 De route omhoog en omlaag was niet te smal en glad. Goed onderhouden.
