Phuket Kooklessen

Ik heb vandaag een kookles van 45 minuten gevolgd bij SGB Cooking Class, Phuket, en het was een geweldige ervaring. Ik koos deze les vanwege de uitstekende online beoordelingen, en het voldeed echt aan de verwachtingen. Chef-kok Nana was een geweldige instructeur—zeer vriendelijk, deskundig en duidelijk in haar uitleg. Tijdens de sessie leerde ik hoe ik Pad Thai en Thaise Groene Curry moest koken, en ze begeleidde ons stap voor stap, waardoor het hele proces gemakkelijk en plezierig was, zelfs in korte tijd. De les was goed georganiseerd, boeiend en perfect voor iedereen die een snelle maar authentieke kennismaking met de Thaise keuken wil. Een echte aanrader voor toeristen en fijnproevers die Phuket bezoeken!

It was a wonderful experience for me and my husband. We went to a local market, where we were shown and told about the ingredients used in certain dishes, and then we headed to the venue where everything we needed was provided. The staff were very friendly, and I was delighted with the whole process. Many thanks to the organizers!

Could not recommend this enough. We arrived late and were graciously accommodated. the experience was in depth and lots of fun !! Not only did we learn about or chosen dishes, but we learned the base of many Thai flavours, and even some of the Thai language. This is a must do activity. Thankyou to Pum and her team for an amazing night

The experience with Arun Thai was incredible. I really enjoyed taking the tuktuk to the market. I got to see the local ingredients and also tasted some of the seasonal fruits. Love the local experience! The decor of the school is amazing with nice crafty vibes. very cosy and homely environment. The teacher was very patient with clear instructions. I felt it was the best phad thai that I ever had, great balance of flavour. We also got to experience making Somtum the local way. It was very appetising and refreshing. Very thankful of the great hospitality from the team! Thank you for taking great photos of us and the recipes!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beste kookles in Phuket – Naidee is een juweeltje! Ik volgde een kookles bij Naidee en het was fantastisch van begin tot eind. Ze is super deskundig, geduldig en houdt duidelijk van wat ze doet. We leerden Pad Thai, groene curry, tom yum en mango sticky rice maken – en alles was heerlijk! Naast de recepten leerde ik zoveel over de Thaise cultuur en ingrediënten. De plek was ongelooflijk goed georganiseerd, en Naidee had absoluut alles wat we nodig hadden (en meer). Ik voelde me de hele tijd volkomen op mijn gemak – alsof ik kookte met een vriendin die echt weet waar ze het over heeft. Eerlijk gezegd zou ik deze les zo weer doen. Ik raad ten zeerste aan om bij Naidee te boeken als je in Phuket bent!

Phuket Easy Thai Cooking Class was a great experience. The team was punctual, and Chef Nana was polite, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. The food we prepared was delicious, and overall, the class offered excellent value for money. I have a few suggestions that could make the experience even better. Currently, the class is structured so that participants prepare and eat one dish before moving on to the next. My friends and I felt it would be more enjoyable if all the dishes were prepared first and then served together at the end as a complete meal. With the current arrangement, we were unable to fully enjoy each dish and ended up having to pack some of the food to take away. In addition, each participant prepares quite a large portion of their dish. Including a fresh salad, such as Thai papaya salad or a raw mango salad, would help bring balance to the meal. Overall, this is a well-organized and worthwhile cooking class that I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Phuket.

Chef Niki gave us an unbelievable experience. My husband and myself were the only people in class so it was like a private master class. The location is superb, it looks like royalty. All staff members treated us kindly and with respect. I will recommend any one to go there. We loved it!

Ik heb me aangemeld omdat ik meer wilde weten over de Thaise keuken. De leraar die ons lesgaf en de tolk waren allebei erg vriendelijk, waardoor ik veel heb kunnen leren. Ik neem mooie herinneringen aan Phuket mee dankzij deze kookles. Het was echt leuk en leerzaam.
