Echt een avontuur. De kinderen hebben ervan genoten en het was een leuk moment. We gingen op dinsdag, normaal gesproken is het park dan gesloten, maar tijdens de feestdagen is het park open. Dus het was niet druk. Erg genoten. 100% aanbevolen, bedankt Klook!!

A lovely and memorable experience at Kota Tinggi Firefly Park! We reached around 6:30 PM, well ahead of our 7:30 PM boat ride. Everything was well organised and punctual. There was no queue, and boarding was smooth as our ticket number was called when it was time.
The firefly boat ride was the highlight of the evening. As we cruised along the river, the trees lit up with countless fireflies, looking like beautiful, sparkling Christmas trees. It was truly magical and mesmerising! We also spotted a monitor lizard along the way, which was a nice surprise.
We returned to the shore around 8:15 PM. The entire experience was relaxed and well managed. There is also a small souvenir shop where you can browse and pick up a little keepsake.
Overall, a wonderful nature experience and definitely worth visiting. The sight of the fireflies lighting up the trees at night is something special and not to be missed!

Pluspunten: Personeel, netheid, restaurants met een behoorlijke selectie en redelijke prijzen. Gemakswinkels hanteren ook hetzelfde principe om de prijzen niet op te drijven tot 'resortprijzen'. Het privéstrand is schoon en prima. Het ontbijt is sterk gericht op de Maleisische keuken, maar we hebben ervan genoten. Minpunten: De buggy-regeling kan in drukke weekenden een beetje wisselvallig zijn. Van de vele vermelde resortfaciliteiten lijken sommige van de leukere items die we wilden, zoals boogschieten, paintball, enz., permanent gesloten te zijn. Er zijn wel andere opties beschikbaar tegen betaling, zoals minigolf, karaoke, funland voor kleine kinderen en Playstation-kamers. We hebben gebruikgemaakt van het spetterbad, het strand en het funland en de rest van de tijd zijn we naar attracties buiten het resort gereden, zoals de krokodillenboerderij, het vuurvliegjespark, de minidierentuin, het tempeldorp, Rapid, enz., waarvoor Lotus een goede uitvalsbasis was.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Westin Desaru Coast. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained, with a lovely beachfront and great facilities for families. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The only downside was that the room did not feel as cosy as expected, even with the air-conditioning and fan. It could be improved for better comfort.
Overall, still a great place to relax and unwind, and we would consider returning.

Amazing resort. The rooms were spacious, clean and really comfortable. Service from check-in to check-out was warm and helpful. The facilities were well-maintained. Breakfast buffet spread was excellent. We actually miss the place.

Nice place to stay, but booking information is not cleared to staff when booked for including breakfast via Klook website. Example: when booking paid and including breakfast for 2 adults and 1 kid, but still hotel staff charging for kid breakfast even though paid already.

I booked a Deluxe King Room and the sea view was awesome. The breakfast was average, but the hotel staff were kind, and check-in and check-out were smooth. There was no iron provided in the room, but I saw one in the hallway, so I used it and returned it to its place. Overall, it's worth staying for one night.
