Vervoer in Nantou

De reis was erg comfortabel en we konden veel plaatsen bezoeken in slechts 1 dag. 小鬼 heeft echt geweldige foto's van ons gemaakt en gaf ruim de tijd voor elke bestemming. Het was een verstandige keuze om deze tour te nemen, aangezien we maar kort in de buurt zijn. We hebben ook verschillende soorten eten geprobeerd. Heel erg bedankt!

De Tainan Xiaogang Airport Express is echt handig, met veel overstappunten. De bus is op tijd, en de chauffeur herinnert je er vriendelijk aan om op je veiligheid te letten bij het in- en uitstappen. Het is comfortabel en stabiel, de ruimte voor grote bagage is erg groot en er is geen limiet aan het aantal stuks of het gewicht van de bagage. Een echte aanrader!

I bought this to travel all over Taiwan collecting Dragon Quest Walk souvenirs. I had my ticket issued in Hsinchu and took a local train to Taichung. When I asked the station attendant how to upgrade to a limited express ticket, they told me to just buy a new ticket. Later, I was able to upgrade to a limited express ticket at other stations, so either the Taichung station attendant was mistaken, or they didn't understand me well because their English wasn't very good, and I ended up paying an extra ¥2500 unnecessarily. But even with that, I think I still came out ahead, so it's fine. Furthermore, with unlimited subway rides in Taipei, I was able to take buses to Jiufen and the National Palace Museum, so the only other transportation costs I incurred during the trip were for local buses in other areas. I think it's a pretty good pass.

the driver was just not very friendly because of the language barrier but it was definitely a fast and smooth ride. he was also 10 minutes early from the time we suggested and he messaged me the night before to confirm the booking

The scooters are great. You can easily go 70 kilometers on flat roads, and about 30 kilometers uphill. There are also charging stations around Puli, Sun Moon Lake, and Cingjing. The staff is very helpful and provides maps of charging stations. Highly recommended if you're not going long distances.
