Mijn vriend en ik hebben echt genoten van deze reis. Het was een volle, propvolle dag vol diverse ervaringen. Een persoonlijk hoogtepunt was de rustige wandeling in het regenwoud, evenals de laatste stop bij de oesterwinkel. Onze gids, Pascal, was fenomenaal: professioneel, boeiend en leuk! Hij zorgde voor een rijke kennismaking met Bruny Island, waarbij hij de geschiedenis, gastronomische gerechten en wijnen, prachtige landschappen, unieke vegetatie en zelfs inzichten in modern onderwijs en stadsontwikkeling behandelde. We zijn erg dankbaar voor vandaag!
Een snelle tip: het weer op het eiland kan onvoorspelbaar zijn, dus zorg ervoor dat u wind- en waterdichte jassen meeneemt en u in laagjes kleedt, zelfs in de zomer!

you get to spend ~5 hrs on Maria Island, recommend joining the tour as the guide knows where the wild animals are and you can easily get lost on the island. it was 17000+ steps for the day, so I would suggest doing this if you’re physically fit. if you are, this is highly recommended. this is the exact Tasmania you want to see!

Het was een leuke ervaring om een bustour met open dak te doen. Het was onze eerste keer, maar we hebben echt genoten van de hele reis, rondzwerven in Hobart. Het was zo leuk. We zullen zeker opnieuw boeken.

I had a great experience on the Mt Wellington / kunanyi 2.5-hour hop-on hop-off explorer bus tour. It actually started off a bit rainy and foggy, and I thought we wouldn’t see anything — but around ten minutes later the sky suddenly cleared. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We ended up enjoying the most incredible, clear views of Hobart from the top of the mountain. The bus was comfortable, the ride was smooth, and the flexibility to hop off made the whole experience easy and relaxed. It was definitely a memorable and worthwhile tour.

The itinerary was good- Richmond, Cherry farm, Bruny Island and Wineglass Bay. With regards to the combined English and Chinese guides, it would have been better if commentaries in English came first then Chinese. The second guide Jeffery was fluent in English and friendly and had a lot of commentaries. He started in English then followed Chinese language. THe best one of all was Jerome, the 3rd guide. Very fluent in English, funny and talked a lot. He added some places not included in the itinerary. The downside to the tour is the airport pick up of passengers. It consumed a lot of time going to the airport when we could have started with the tour. Airport pickups should not be an option on day 1 of the tour. Pax should arrive a day before. Ibis Hotel accommodation was very nice. Good choice. Transport vehicle was small. The Aurora Australis one night is a good option in case index is high. Like this option although we were not lucky on our 3 night stay.
