Jeg tok dette Statue of Liberty Express Cruise i New York i dag, og ærlig talt viste det seg å være en flott avgjørelse. Først var jeg usikker på om jeg skulle velge dette eller den gratis Staten Island Ferry, men etter å ha sett noen YouTube-videoer, innså jeg at dette cruiset ville gi mye bedre og nærmere utsikt til Frihetsgudinnen – og det gjorde det absolutt. Jeg betalte rundt 25 dollar, noe jeg synes er absolutt verdt det. Siden jeg reiste en ukedag ettermiddag, var fergen overraskende lite folksom, noe som ga meg god plass og tid til å ta bilder uten stress. Cruiset er veldig godt vedlikeholdt og har flere sitteplasser. Det er et åpent toppdekk med fantastisk utsikt over byens silhuett, pluss innendørs dekk for folk som ønsker å holde seg varme i kaldere vær. Guiden var også utmerket – veldig morsom, informativ og forklarte New Yorks silhuett og nærliggende landemerker veldig bra. Hele turen varte rundt 45–50 minutter. Komfortabelt, naturskjønt og definitivt verdt pengene.

Turen er flott. Dette er en attraksjon man bare må besøke i New York. Det er mange kjente malerier og vakre gjenstander.

Our guide (Ricky) was very informative ... lots if facts on Central Park (history / backgrounds) ... we appreciated it very much. The activity was 2hrs though we covered a lot of the park but still seemed very short to see the beauty of the park.

After booking through Klook, I received an email from the tour company, AmigoTour. It stated that the meeting point was on the sidewalk in front of the Hyatt Hotel entrance at 8:15 AM, 15 minutes before the tour started. Around 8:10 AM, I went to what I vaguely thought was the subway exit for the meeting point, and there were about 20 people, presumably tour participants, standing around. There were no signs or guides at the location. The Hyatt Hotel is at the corner of East 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue, and the meeting point was near that corner of the hotel. At 8:15 AM, our guide, Jose, loudly called out "AmigoTour." He checked the list of participants in the order they lined up. I had prepared my Klook eTicket on my smartphone, but it wasn't needed. We were on a half-day tour, but most participants seemed to be on the full-day tour. At the end, the guide told us, "We'll return to the Hyatt Hotel, but if you change your mind, you can switch to the full-day tour, just let me know." We wanted to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and then to Battery Park and Ground Zero, so we informed him that we would "drop out at the Brooklyn Bridge as per our booking." After that, we boarded the bus that was parked across the intersection, and the tour began. The guide spoke English very slowly, which made it easy to understand. He was also very punctual, and as other reviews mentioned, he was an excellent person. For a tour costing only about 7,000 yen, it covered the perimeter of NYC (west -> north -> east -> south), allowing us to experience areas outside of central Manhattan. While it's difficult to visit areas like Harlem and the Bronx on a typical trip, this bus window tour provided a great experience. We stayed in NYC for three nights, and after being so satisfied with this tour on the first day, we decided to cancel our planned destinations for the remaining two days and just relax. Most of the approximately 30 participants were from Europe; we were the only Asians. This tour seems to only run on weekends, but the cost performance and the guide were both excellent. We were so satisfied that we gave a $10 tip to both the guide and the driver when we got off.
