Jeg tog denne Statue of Liberty Express Cruise i dag i New York, og ærligt talt viste det sig at være en god beslutning. Oprindeligt var jeg i tvivl mellem denne og den gratis Staten Island Ferry, men efter at have set et par YouTube-videoer indså jeg, at dette krydstogt ville give meget bedre og tættere udsigt til Frihedsgudinden – og det gjorde det absolut. Jeg betalte omkring 25 dollars, hvilket jeg synes er det hele værd. Da jeg rejste på en hverdags eftermiddag, var færgen overraskende mindre overfyldt, hvilket gav mig masser af plads og tid til at tage billeder uden hastværk. Krydstogtet er meget velholdt og har flere siddepladser. Der er et åbent topdæk med fantastisk udsigt over byens skyline, plus indendørs dæk til folk, der ønsker at holde varmen i koldere vejr. Guiden var også fremragende – meget sjov, informativ og forklarede New Yorks skyline og nærliggende vartegn rigtig godt. Hele turen varede omkring 45-50 minutter. Komfortabel, naturskøn og absolut pengene værd.

Booking gennem Klook var en utrolig problemfri oplevelse fra start til slut. Den øjeblikkelige bekræftelse gav ro i sindet, og indløsning af værdibeviset på stedet var lige så simpelt som at vise en QR-kode på min telefon, hvilket gjorde, at jeg helt kunne springe de lange billetkøer over. Jeg vil varmt anbefale at bruge denne service til alle, der ønsker at spare tid og penge på deres næste aktivitet.

Turen er fantastisk. Dette er en attraktion, man skal besøge i New York. Der er mange berømte malerier og smukke artefakter.

Our guide (Ricky) was very informative ... lots if facts on Central Park (history / backgrounds) ... we appreciated it very much. The activity was 2hrs though we covered a lot of the park but still seemed very short to see the beauty of the park.

After booking through Klook, I received an email from the tour company, AmigoTour. It stated that the meeting point was on the sidewalk in front of the Hyatt Hotel entrance at 8:15 AM, 15 minutes before the tour started. Around 8:10 AM, I went to what I vaguely thought was the subway exit for the meeting point, and there were about 20 people, presumably tour participants, standing around. There were no signs or guides at the location. The Hyatt Hotel is at the corner of East 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue, and the meeting point was near that corner of the hotel. At 8:15 AM, our guide, Jose, loudly called out "AmigoTour." He checked the list of participants in the order they lined up. I had prepared my Klook eTicket on my smartphone, but it wasn't needed. We were on a half-day tour, but most participants seemed to be on the full-day tour. At the end, the guide told us, "We'll return to the Hyatt Hotel, but if you change your mind, you can switch to the full-day tour, just let me know." We wanted to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and then to Battery Park and Ground Zero, so we informed him that we would "drop out at the Brooklyn Bridge as per our booking." After that, we boarded the bus that was parked across the intersection, and the tour began. The guide spoke English very slowly, which made it easy to understand. He was also very punctual, and as other reviews mentioned, he was an excellent person. For a tour costing only about 7,000 yen, it covered the perimeter of NYC (west -> north -> east -> south), allowing us to experience areas outside of central Manhattan. While it's difficult to visit areas like Harlem and the Bronx on a typical trip, this bus window tour provided a great experience. We stayed in NYC for three nights, and after being so satisfied with this tour on the first day, we decided to cancel our planned destinations for the remaining two days and just relax. Most of the approximately 30 participants were from Europe; we were the only Asians. This tour seems to only run on weekends, but the cost performance and the guide were both excellent. We were so satisfied that we gave a $10 tip to both the guide and the driver when we got off.

Fantastisk museum! Det føles som om man mindst skal bruge en uge på at se det hele. Jeg blev så opslugt af impressionisterne, at jeg mistede min gruppe.
