Hvis du tenker på Ijen, bør du slutte å tenke og bare gjøre det! Det er et veldig fint sted med flott utsikt. Den blå lavaen er ikke så stor, men fortsatt fin å se. Turen var også tung, men med litt styrke klarer du det. Det er 5 sjekkpunkter hvor du kan ta en pause.

It was one of the most memorable trip I have been to with lots of experience and flavors. Even though our trip to Kawah Ijen got canceled due to wildfires, we were offered alternative options and we chose Tabuhan island where we could ride a boat, enjoy our lunch and break time on the beach before we continued to go snorkeling. We also got a chance to get our footages while snorkeling to keep as a memory. Especially, our tour guide and driver Mr. Ruly was very funny and energetic to be around. Moreover, his driving skill was so admirable which we do not have to worry much as he drove us from one place to the other very safely. Overall, I would recommend to book this shared multiday tour to experience the most of Bromo and East Java. 💯💯

Som min første solotur var jeg redd og tvilende. Reiseplanen var på en måte lik pakken, med noen endringer. Dag 1: Tumpak Sewu Sjåfør Andika var punktlig og hyggelig. Guide Widodo var hjelpsom og en god fotograf! Han ble værende da jeg slet med å klatre opp. Vi bodde på Jamilah H’stay, langt fra byen. Rommet var ikke lydisolert og det delte toalettet var lite. Men resepsjonisten var veldig hjelpsom. Dag 2: Seruni Viewpoint Sjåfør Frankie var vennlig. Vi tok en jeep nær Seruni VP og hadde ingen guide, men alt gikk knirkefritt. Frokost ble tilberedt før vi fortsatte til Kawah Ijen. Dag 3: Kawah Ijen Vår sjåfør var dyktig til tross for den lange reisen fra Bromo. Hadi Homestay var romslig med bedre fasiliteter. Kl. 00:30 startet vi turen. Vår guide Iqbal var veldig hjelpsom. Tøffeste turen, men han tok oss med for å se den blå flammen og innsjøen uten å presse. Vi fulgte vårt eget tempo og klarte det! På vei ned tok jeg «Lamborghini» for 500k – verdt hver krone! Tips: Strekk ut og varm opp før turen!

Thanks to Fauzi and Fredy we had a very good time even though ijen was closed due to unexpected circumstances but they able to arrange and customise the trip for us. Both of them are very friendly, hardworking and committed to their job with full of passion which make our trip wonderful. They deserve a raise and praise.

Our three-day, two-night East Java volcano tour truly exceeded our family's expectations! We learned after booking that the Ijen crater was closed. The travel agency not only promptly informed us but also actively helped us adjust our itinerary, even adding the Madakaripura Waterfall, which turned out to be the most surprising and memorable part of our trip. The three-day, two-night private tour was absolutely worth it! We had a dedicated guide and driver with us the entire time. Our guide, Jiaxin, is a native Indonesian but speaks fluent Chinese, so communication was seamless. Along the way, he shared many stories about the volcanoes, culture, and local life, and he also took excellent care of our family of four. During the trip, my husband, who suffers from severe sleep apnea, had a very strong reaction to the high altitude. Jiaxin meticulously looked after him, especially during the climb up Mount Ijen, where he accompanied and supported him almost the entire way. This allowed me to focus on caring for our two children without having to juggle responsibilities between family members. His attentiveness and sense of responsibility truly touched us. (And we even saw the beautiful artificial blue fire at the volcano!) Throughout the journey, Jiaxin also adjusted the pace according to our family's condition, arranging timely breaks, helping us take photos, and recommending local delicacies, making the entire trip very relaxed and comfortable. At Mount Bromo, when we were delayed and missed breakfast, he quietly arranged for the hotel to save meal boxes for us, so we had food waiting as soon as we returned to the hotel – truly thoughtful. I must also commend our driver, Agus Botak. Every day involved long drives of over four hours, often on winding mountain roads in East Java, and sometimes even starting in the early morning. Yet, he was always energetic and drove smoothly, allowing us to rest comfortably in the car. For families traveling with children, a safe and reliable driver is incredibly important. What touched us most was that they didn't treat this job as a routine task; they genuinely cared for every traveler. These three days brought us not only beautiful scenery but also heartwarming human connection. This was the best travel experience I've had in Southeast Asia to date, which is why I'm writing this review so earnestly, hoping it can serve as a reference for others. From the travel agency's arrangements and the guide's professionalism to the driver's attentiveness, they left me with a wonderful impression of Indonesia. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. I also want to add that the cost of this private tour includes one meal, local guides for Madakaripura Waterfall and Ijen Volcano, all entrance fees, and necessary equipment, so there's no need to worry about additional expenses – it's truly worth it! ❤️

Vår 4 dager/3 netter tur til Bromo, Ijen Blue Flame og Tumpak Sewu-fossen var helt perfekt! Overnattingsstedene som ble arrangert var utmerkede og svært komfortable, noe som gjorde at vi fikk god hvile etter hver fysisk krevende dag. Vi vil spesielt takke vår guide Anam og vår sjåfør. Sjåføren kjørte så jevnt at vi kunne hvile komfortabelt under de lange kjøreturene. Vår guide Anam var utrolig profesjonell og dedikert; han introduserte oss grundig for den lokale javanesiske kulturen og historien underveis, noe som ga oss en mye rikere forståelse av stedene vi besøkte. Enten han veiledet oss gjennom midnattsturen for å se Ijen Blue Flame eller utforsket fossen, prioriterte Anam alltid vår sikkerhet. I tillegg er han en fantastisk fotograf! Han hjalp oss med å ta så mange fantastiske bilder, noe som skapte uforglemmelige minner. Anbefaler dette teamet på det sterkeste, en 5-stjerners opplevelse!

Nabil, our sweet and kind tour guide, has made it an amazing trip for us to Bromo and Madakirapura Waterfall! Overall the trip was very well-organised. The time spent on each activity was precisely calculated, allowing us to have enough time to catch a break after each eventful adventure. Nabil took care of everything. After a light meal before sunrise he guided us to a spot where most people would have missed, giving us the advantage of having a clear view of bromo at dawn. He was also very thoughtful, providing us with cushions while waiting. The view was spectacular and breathtaking, absolutely worth the wait. Nabil was loquacious and knowledgeable, a decent quality for a tour guide, about the history and culture of each spot, telling us interesting stories and explaining things in detail. He also helped us to take a lot of nice pictures, making our journey even more memorable. He’s a friend of us now!

En veldig verdt vulkan- og fossefallstur, takk til Dasi og Nandu for å gi oss så hyggelige minner. Jeg anbefaler alle å dra til fossefallet, og det er absolutt nødvendig å ha en guide. Det er et spørsmål om liv og død, så finn en guide!
