Great Barrier Reef-turer

Flott dagstur til revet, vi fikk stoppe på 2 dykkesteder og pakken min inkluderte også 1 helikoptertur. Operatøren hadde også en fotograf som hjalp deg med å ta undervannsbilder som du kunne kjøpe senere (selv om det var ganske dyrt til $20/bilde). Lunsjen var enkel (biff, reker, grillet fisk, salat og pasta), men deilig, og rekene var veldig ferske. Det jeg skulle ønske kunne vært bedre, var kunngjøringen om helikopterturen – det hadde vært bedre om de hadde kunngjort min tur omtrent 10-15 minutter før flyet tok av, slik at jeg hadde hatt nok tid til å skifte til vanlige klær (jeg snorklet rett før det). Jeg tror også at hvis passasjerer får minst 30 minutter før avgang til å ta sjøsyketabletter, vil det fungere bedre. Noen passasjerer på turen min tok pillen, men ble likevel syke, kanskje fordi pillen ikke hadde nok tid til å virke (man må ta den etter frokost, minst 30 minutter før avgang).

Fantastisk opplevelse! Godt organisert for over 100 passasjerer, fra sikkerhet, sitteplasser, utstyr til lunsj og ettermiddagste. Flott for vår første gang med snorkling, og personalet var vennlig. Dessverre ble helikopterturen kansellert på grunn av været, men alt annet var bra. Selv om vi ble veldig sjøsyke (selv om vi tok tabletter), var det absolutt verdt det!

I went on a snorkeling tour. It included boat transportation to and from the island, snorkeling gear rental on the island, and access to showers and a swimming pool there. For lunch, I had Thai food that I bought at the night market the day before. The snorkeling was truly wonderful. The water was very shallow, with lots of coral, and I saw turtles, stingrays, sharks, giant clams, and lionfish. There were many other fish as well. It was a bit cold due to the strong wind and lower water temperature, but I was able to warm up again on the sandy beach.

Excellent experience! Thr Great Barrier Reef is definitely worth going! Sunlovers boat was really nice compared to other boats. The guides to the SeaWalker and the Scuber Diving were excellent. We also had the best snorkeling experience !

Great day tour to the Daintree, but I do feel like the itinerary is a bit rush. We got too little time stopping at the Mossman River Creek & Cape Tribulation (I really wished we had more time in those places). On the other hand, I really love the welcome to country ceremony & introduction to local indigenous culture - really eye opening experience. The river cruise and walk thru the rainforest also came with clear introduction & excellent guide.

I was worried about check-in and other procedures since I don't speak English, but I'm so grateful that there were many Japanese staff members who provided support. We were also blessed with good weather, and it truly became an unforgettable memory!

Nice island getaway with a relaxing vibe We joined a day trip to Fitzroy Island and overall had a nice experience. The boat ride from the marina took about 45 minutes, which was quite manageable. The weather in the days before our trip had been rainy, so the guide let us know in advance that the water might not be very clear. Even so, it was still enjoyable to spend time on the island and go into the water. The beach we were at had corals instead of soft sand, so it was a bit harder and more slippery to walk on, something visitors may want to be prepared for. We still managed to see a few fishes and corals while snorkelling. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant day trip, especially if you want to enjoy island scenery and spend some time by the water. I’d recommend bringing suitable footwear for the coral beach and managing expectations depending on recent weather conditions.

check in was easy and the boat departed on time. weather was perfect and we were back on schedule time
