Saigon Central Post Office-turer

We participated in this motorcycle tour this afternoon with Katee and Flower. They patiently waited for us in the hotel lobby and enthusiastically helped us handle an emergency, which took about ten extra minutes. They were extremely patient. This type of travel allows you to experience local Vietnamese traffic and everyday life from the back of a bike. We visited the Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Book Street, temples, and learned about the Vietnam War. The war section was truly shocking; regardless of whether the authorities were right or wrong, it is always the ordinary people who suffer. I hope the world will see fewer acts of plunder and aggression under various pretexts in the future. Afterward, we came to a very quaint coffee shop, where we had refreshing mango juice and snacks. Time flew by. Highly recommend this way of experiencing Vietnam! Thank you to our two guides. We were a bit pressed for time, but they were very patient and friendly, helping us out and chatting with us. A wonderful experience!

Wow, for en fantastisk opplevelse å sitte bakpå en scooter og være en del av trafikken, og ikke bare se på den fra fortauet. Det føltes veldig trygt å kjøre med Tera og vennen hennes. Det var også en stor glede å høre dem, som lokale, forklare mer om severdighetene vi passerte på turen. Teras historie om Thich Quang Duc rørte meg spesielt mye. I was on a Japanese tour by myself. My guide was a woman named Tao. She picked me up at the hotel lobby, and when I asked to take photos at famous spots and send postcards from the post office, she taught me how to buy and send them, and even communicated with the staff for me. While I was writing the postcards, she adjusted my Ao Dai and took pictures. She also took me to a section of Ben Thanh Market where you can't negotiate prices, and I was able to get four T-shirts at a great deal! I love Vietnam T-shirts for 99,000 VND! They're cheap even without negotiating! The only downside was that they didn't have any 333 beer T-shirts! We walked to our destinations and only took a car twice. On the way back, I changed at the hotel and returned the Ao Dai. Since I barely understand English, I'm glad I chose the Japanese tour! She also talked about history, and I was completely satisfied with the entire three hours!

En av de beste turene for å virkelig forstå og sette pris på Vietnam og hvordan landet har blitt det det er i dag. Det tok lang tid for Vietnam å komme dit det er nå, og denne turen gir verdifull innsikt i den reisen. Krigsminnene var hjerteskjærende, og jeg klarte ikke å se gjennom alle bildene fordi de var utrolig tunge og hjerteskjærende. Til tross for den emosjonelle opplevelsen hadde vi en fantastisk tid under turen. Sørg for å ta med kjølespray, vann og en vifte for å overleve varmen i Ho Chi Minh! En spesiell takk til vår turguide Cyta, som gjorde denne turen enda mer fornøyelig. Hun var snill, kunnskapsrik og delte så mange historier om Vietnams fortid, noe som gjorde opplevelsen mye mer meningsfull. Vi setter stor pris på denne typen turopplegg sammenlignet med tradisjonelle reisebyråturer. Det tillot oss å utforske i vårt eget tempo mens vi fordypet oss i den lokale kulturen og dagliglivet. Det føltes mer personlig, autentisk og generelt mer fornøyelig.

An unforgettable night in Ho Chi Minh City with Rae! I highly recommend this Ao Dai motorbike tour! It was definitely the absolute highlight of my trip to Ho Chi Minh City. My driver and guide, Rae, was amazing. She was not only an incredibly safe and skillful driver in the chaotic traffic, but also so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. She took great care of me throughout the entire tour and shared so many interesting stories about the city and local culture. Riding on the back of a motorbike in a traditional Ao Dai felt so special, and it’s the best way to experience the real vibe of Saigon. Thank you, Rae, for making this an unforgettable experience. Had such a great time! Puon was an awesome guide and made the whole experience so much fun. Since it was just me, I got to enjoy exploring different cafés, wandering around the city, and even trying archery! 🏹 For someone who is not sporty at all, I surprisingly had so much fun! 😂 Definitely a fun way to explore the city and make some great memories. ✨
