This hot stone spa is conveniently located in the B2 level of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, right behind Taichung Station! The staff were very patient and helpful, and the environment was new and clean. Everything from the restrooms to the hair-drying area and the hot stone spa rooms themselves were spotless, though there was a bit of dust in some of the single-person lying areas, specifically in the corners near the walls.

Klook offers great prices. You can upgrade to a themed room for an additional 300, or to a deluxe room for an additional 900. Nikko Hot Springs is very close to the city and the interchange, so you can go and relax there.

Either way, this is one of the best activity bookings I've made. as a solo traveler I had the entire time slot to myself, which meant zero rushing and unlimited Turkish tea. The instructor was attentive without being overbearing, and the whole experience was genuinely relaxing and fun. I was so into it that I seriously considered doing a second one. I'm a full-time traveler and didn't plan to keep anything bulky -- then I saw how mine turned out and immediately started figuring out how to pack it. That should tell you everything. Highly recommend, rain day or shine.

Highly recommend for families with children and dogs! The staff in every area are incredibly friendly, and it's very convenient to bring pets here. Pets are allowed to stay by your side, including placing dogs in the outdoor seating area of the ball pit, where they can enjoy the air conditioning with you. Dogs can watch from the poolside, and there's even a pet pool (though my dog doesn't like water). The indoor play area is large and very clean. While some of the dinosaurs are a bit old, they fit the Jurassic theme perfectly. In the dinosaur village section, there are also small cabins where you can go inside to rest and cool off. The kids played until the lights went out and still didn't want to leave. We plan to come back every year!
