Eddy er den mest fantastiske guiden! Han er like kunnskapsrik som han er humoristisk. Hans detaljerte forklaringer hjalp oss å sette pris på århundrene med historie, kultur og kunst som er bevart i Vatikanmuseene og Det sixtinske kapell. Jeg vil definitivt anbefale å betale mer for en guidet opplevelse! Det er vel verdt det!

Jeg tok nattvandringen med Carpe Diem Tour. Det var helt fantastisk! Guiden vår, Maham, er så kunnskapsrik, og hun ga oss mye lettfordøyelig kunnskap og interessante fakta om byen. Jeg elsker hvor lidenskapelig hun er i jobben sin! Hun introduserte også fine steder å besøke og dra til! Elsket det, og vil anbefale alle å bestille denne turen!

Vi kjøpte billettene for å slippe køen, men det var ingen kø tidlig om morgenen i januar. Imidlertid var heisen verdt det, da trappetrinnene var ganske høye, og derfor vanskeligere å klatre. Takket være fraværet av folkemengder, tok vi oss god tid oppe på kuppelen og tok bilder. Arkitekturen, kunstverkene og utsikten var helt fantastisk. Det er en liten gavebutikk på toppen av basilikaen som tilbyr fine gaver til dine kjære.

Vår omvisning i Vatikanmuseene var enestående. Guiden vår var utrolig kunnskapsrik, snill og oppmerksom gjennom hele opplevelsen. Hun sørget for at alle holdt sammen og aldri følte seg borte, noe vi virkelig satte pris på gitt hvor travelt det kan være. Forklaringene hennes var klare, engasjerende og fulle av innsikt, og hun vekket historien og kunsten til live. Hun guidet oss sømløst gjennom museene – en virkelig fantastisk opplevelse fra start til slutt.

Please remember to refer to the email sent by the tour operator and go to the designated meeting point at the specified time to check in with the staff. After checking in, the tour guide will distribute tickets and audio guides to the group members (please keep your tickets safe, as they will be checked at least twice after entering the Vatican). Our tour guide was very responsible and knowledgeable, providing us with detailed explanations of the historical background and interesting facts about the Vatican and its architecture, which was very enriching. Please note that once you leave a building within the Vatican, you cannot re-enter it. If you wish to visit again, you will need to purchase another ticket (for example, once you leave the museum for the chapel, you cannot return to the museum). Also, this tour does not include Raphael's Rooms. Tickets to climb the dome must be purchased separately. The dome has two levels: the first level has 300 steps (with an elevator), and the second level to the very top has 200 steps (no elevator). From the highest building in Rome, you can overlook the entire city.

I didn't see any reviews when I bought it, but later I got nervous when I saw the reviews because there were three negative reviews out of four. The platform didn't support refunds either, so I could only take a chance. Fortunately, I was able to redeem it in the end, but it was a bit of a hassle. You can't scan the electronic QR code directly. You have to find a staff member next to the small shop in front of the Foot Locker store and exchange it for a paper ticket to successfully enter St. Peter's Basilica. Before going to the museum, you have to go to the shop diagonally opposite to exchange it again. However, the fast track was good and saved a lot of queuing.

I was suspicious at how cheap this was at first compared to all the other tours on Viator and Get Your Guide, but this tour saved me and my friend as a last minute booking! Amazing tour partner Towns of Italy with a hilarious but very knowledgeable tour guide Daniela leading our pack. Highly recommend as the Vatican Museums + St Peters Basilica are beast of history and art in itself.

I visited the Vatican Museums, which was what I was most looking forward to during my trip to Rome. Since I heard it was very large and had many artworks, I booked a docent tour, and it was an excellent decision. If I had gone alone, I probably would have just vaguely glanced at the famous paintings without knowing what anything was, and then left exhausted. The tour was a strenuous walk, more than I expected, but our guide efficiently led us through the route and shared fascinating behind-the-scenes stories about the artworks, so there was never a dull moment. The emotion I felt when I saw Raphael's 'The School of Athens,' which I had only seen in textbooks, in person is still vivid. The highlight was definitely Michelangelo's ceiling frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. Photography is prohibited inside, so I had to take it all in with my eyes, but remembering Michelangelo's solitary working process, which our guide explained before we entered, made me feel completely overwhelmed by the artwork. I highly recommend it!!!

This tour, which focuses on night views and snap photography, is highly recommended for couples! The guide provides a lot of explanations, and as you walk and listen, you'll stop for snap photos, then continue to see historical sites and hear more explanations, moving along and taking more pictures! Both the guide and the photographer were incredibly kind and gave great directions, making the photo shoot very comfortable and enjoyable. I haven't received the photos yet, but I'm really looking forward to them!

the guide Stefano was so knowledgeable that he shared a lot of stories and insights on the museum and chapel. He was frank and humorous! a very lovely guide! I really enjoyed the tour a lot.

The ticket exchange staff are waiting at the designated location, next to the restaurant, with a noticeable white flag. Then, they take all the group members to queue up together. Today, the first security check took an hour and a half, and queuing to go up to the top took another hour. It's quite tiring if you're not physically fit. The tour leader said that today was already considered fast, so you should allow at least 4 hours here before booking anything else, otherwise you'll be rushing around like me.

There were the booking group who waited for us at the specified location and our guide, an elderly lady (didn't get her name) was very knowledgeable about the Vatican City. I learnt a lot from this trip. Also, it was superb to see the stamina and enthusiasm of the guide which kept us also wanting for more.
