An indescribably wonderful trip and the best day tour I have ever taken. First of all, the bus tour guide himself had white hair and wore a traditional Icelandic patterned wool sweater, looking like a Viking stepped right into reality and instantly creating a strong sense of immersion. Along the way, we saw the magnificent daytime waterfall shining brightly under the brilliant sunshine. When taking the boat tour of the glacier lagoon, the captain gave each of us a piece of transparent, thousand-year-old iceberg to hold for photos. The apocalyptic feel of Diamond Beach was then brought to life with a ray of bright sunshine. We enjoyed delicious volcanic rock black pizza and endless refills of soup in a bread bowl in the town of Vik. We saw the Seljalandsfoss waterfall at night, surrounded by stars and the aurora borealis amidst the mountains—a rare and wonderful experience in a lifetime. On the way back, we were very lucky to encounter a major aurora outburst. The guide said that according to the rules, he was supposed to return the bus on time without stopping, but he felt we shouldn't miss such a gorgeous aurora, so he decided to take the risk to give us a lucky moment! He finally found a super viewing platform, and we all stopped to capture the most stunning night of the northern lights. It was an extremely memorable journey. Plus, there was free Wi-Fi throughout the entire trip, and the heating was so warm that wearing just a single sweater inside the bus was more than enough. The guide not only introduced every attraction to us, but before parting ways, he also shared his favorite local itinerary as an Icelandic native, including municipal hot springs, sculpture art, and the whale museum, among others. All in all, it was a perfect journey combining nature and culture, entirely deserving of a full score. If you are staying in Reykjavik, taking a tour like this means you won't miss a thing on the South Coast.

Great trip! Our guide was a retired Icelandic man who is very knowledgeable. I have brought some snacks with me and decided to skip the dine-in lunch. The guide arranged me to take a scenic hike trail around the town of Arnarstapi. Highly recommended!

So many similar buses come to the meeting place that it was hard to tell which one was ours. After about an hour on the bus, we arrived at a pitch-black location! At first, there were quite a few clouds, and I think we all pointed our smartphones at the sky for about 10 minutes trying to see something. Around that time, they handed out cocoa, and refills were available! Just as people were starting to head back to the bus, saying we probably wouldn't be able to see anything, someone shouted that they caught the aurora in a photo! We all ran over there and took pictures✨ A green aurora showed up in the photos, but to the naked eye, it looked like white wisps! Still, as an experience of seeing the aurora, I am extremely satisfied!

Jeg valgte komfortpakken, den var god nok for meg, men badekåpe var ikke inkludert. Jeg anbefaler å kjøpe en, fordi det er veldig kaldt etter badstuen eller det varme kilden. Og det er en suvenirbutikk rett foran inngangen, så hvis du glemmer å ta med badedrakt, kan du kjøpe en der.

most common day tour in Iceland. our guide was knowledgeable, obviously they operators requested all guides to be prepared. whilst the crater was so-so, the Gullfoss Falls was magnificent and stunning. we also managed to hop by a small form and pet a few of the horses in Iceland which are so adorable. hopefully the price can be little lower.

Caught a rainbow at both! 🌈 ReynisfjaraBlackSandBeach The conditions at Reynisfjara were awful, and despite keeping my distance, I actually got dragged in by a sneaker wave. In that exact moment, I thought, 'If I die right now, at least my family gets 12 million in insurance.' #CloseUpGlacier Looking closely at the glacier, it's far from the ordinary white I know. Instead, it's a natural white with light refractions, mesmerizing from every single angle.🌟 #

Vi nøt alle aspekter ved museet. Vi hadde nettopp fullført turen vår langs Ringveien, og dette var en tråd som bandt turen vår sammen – besvarte gjenværende spørsmål.

We enjoyed the fullday Golden Circle Tour on Oct 16 at 10am! The weather wasn’t very sunny but it was still good enough to enjoy most of the sights! The tour felt quite rushed tho. Some stops had around 30 mins which felt insufficient if you wanted to take photos, enjoy the scenery & truly appreciate the place without constantly worrying about being late. It sometimes felt like we had to rush back to the bus. would have loved a little more time at each stop. Our favorite was the Geysir! We waited for the geyser to erupt several times just to capture the perfect photo & it was absolutely worth it. special mention to our guide MARGERIT, who was incredibly knowledgeable and told stories so vividly that I could almost picture things she described. Some of her stories genuinely inspired me to dream about returning to Iceland. That made the experience special! ✨ Overall, a great tour with beautiful sights and an excellent guide. I just wish the pace were a little more relaxed!

Good experience thanks to Alessio, captain and crew from special tours - managed to see 2 humpback whales & 2 mica whales! Thankfully the captain was skilled and reversed when the whale was near us, unlike other smaller boats who charge towards the whale...

Vi ble hentet i tide, men den lokale sjåføren var litt uformell og kunne finne på å endre avstigningsstedet avhengig av trafikken. Den dagen ble vi for eksempel ikke kjørt direkte tilbake til bussterminalen for å bytte til minibussen som skulle ta oss til hotellet. Sjåføren plutselig på veien sa at det var blitt for sent å dra til terminalen og dro dit likevel ikke. Han slapp av alle på en busstasjon i sentrum som han mente var praktisk for at folk skulle komme seg til hotellet (men det var fremdeles 20 minutters gange fra hotellet vårt). Først etter at vi spurte, slapp han oss av ved en annen, litt nærmere busstasjon (syv minutters gange fra hotellet). Selv om det sparte oss for tiden det ville tatt å vente på bussbytte på terminalen, føltes det nesten som å bli satt av midt i ingen manns land etter å ha betalt for tjenesten (og man visste jo ikke engang hvor man var). Det føltes som om transportarbeidet deres var ganske vilkårlig.
