Chengdu Turer

We are a group of five senior friends who traveled to Chengdu and Chongqing. Klook travel designer Charley meticulously customized our itinerary, arranging everything according to our interests and abilities, making the overall trip rich in content and comfortable. The local tour teams in both cities were also very professional. Each day, they provided advance weather reminders, allowing us to prepare appropriate attire. Both drivers had excellent driving attitudes, ensuring safety and attentiveness, providing us with several comfortable long-distance travel experiences. Thank you all! Nancy in Chengdu and Xiao K in Chongqing gave us in-depth introductions to the local culture, history, customs, and unique attractions of each scenic spot, giving us a vivid sense of both cities and their human history. I brought my parents here. Traveling by high-speed rail is much less strenuous for seniors! In the past, it took a whole day just to get to Jiuzhaigou, but now we can leave Chengdu in the morning and arrive at the scenic area by noon. At Huanglong Scenic Area, we took the ropeway up the mountain (80 yuan/person for the ascent) and then slowly walked down to see the Five-Color Ponds. Four hours was plenty of time for the visit. On the second day, the sightseeing bus in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area went directly to the core attractions, covering Shuzheng Valley, Rize Valley, and Zechawa Valley. We walked about seven to eight thousand steps daily, and my parents weren't tired. Jiuzhaigou in July is lush green, the waterfalls are spectacularly full, and the air is fresh with the scent of plants and streams. Staying two nights at a hotel at the gully entrance meant we didn't have to move our luggage, which was very convenient. My parents enjoyed the Tibetan dinner and even watched a Guozhuang dance. The tour guide didn't enter the scenic area with us, but they explained all the important tips for visiting beforehand, which made the trip quite hassle-free.

Vi nøt tiden vår på denne turen grundig. Turen var ekstremt godt organisert og tok oss til mange fantastiske områder i Vest-Sichuan som ville vært vanskelig å komme til på egen hånd. Sjåføren vår, Jia Wei Shi Fu, var fantastisk og gjorde de lange kjøreturene så komfortable og smidige som de kunne være. Concierge-personalet var også svært hjelpsomme med å bestille attraksjonsbilletter og ekstremt responsive på spørsmål eller forespørsler. Som utlendinger snakket vi bare litt mandarin, men vi klarte oss ved hjelp av oversettelsesapper og hadde det fortsatt kjempefint, så jeg tror ikke det er et problem hvis du ikke snakker mandarin. Jeg kan på det sterkeste anbefale denne turen til andre som ønsker å utforske denne utrolige delen av Kina.

The scenery in Jiuzhaigou is truly magnificent, with both snow and green forests. It feels like experiencing two seasons in one day, which is an amazing feeling! The water in Jiuzhaigou is crystal clear, almost transparent. The boardwalks, snowscapes, and 'haizi' (lakes) are all beautiful. Before I signed up, I saw a comment saying it wasn't very good, but after chatting with customer service, I decided to give it a try myself. It turned out to be quite good, and the travel agency's arrangements were very clear.

5 stars for the organization! The drivers and guides were incredibly punctual and thoughtful. Loved the balance of guided activity and free time. Even though the fog was thick and the monkeys were hiding, the team's energy kept the vibe high. Highly recommend.

Opplevelsen av denne turen var helt fantastisk, takket være den omtenksomme servicen fra reiseleder Yangyang og sjåføren! Reiseleder Yangyang var spesielt forsiktig og hensynsfull gjennom hele prosessen, og fulgte nøye med på alles tilstand for å løse ulike problemer i tide. Forklaringene var også veldig interessante, noe som ga oss mye å lære. Sjåføren hadde førsteklasses kjøreferdigheter, og kjørte jevnt hele veien, med myke svinger og bremser, uten ubehag i det hele tatt. Det var betryggende å sitte i bilen hele veien. En så profesjonell og hjertevarm service gjorde virkelig et spesielt inntrykk og fortjener all ros!

Reiseplanen var godt planlagt, og vi fikk sett så mye på bare én dag! Turlederen vår var ekstremt erfaren og ga oss tips om hvilke steder vi burde se, noe som gjorde dagen vår mye enklere og hyggeligere! Hvis du har dårlig tid og ønsker å besøke Siguniang-fjellet, anbefaler jeg denne turen på det sterkeste!

This lunch at Hong Ding Yan was the highlight of our Chengdu trip! Celebrating Chinese New Year here was truly unforgettable. The hotpot was outstanding—fresh ingredients, rich and flavorful broth, and authentic Sichuan taste that left us wanting more. The wonderful cultural performance added a strong festive atmosphere, making the whole experience both fun and immersive. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chengdu—a perfect combination of delicious food, rich culture, and unforgettable memories!
