Transport i Chitose

Hokkaido JR-passet på 7 dager er ekstremt nyttig. Det hjalp meg med å ta tog overalt på lange avstander. Alle steder du ønsker å dra til, kan nås. Spesielt å reise til Nord-Hokkaido er ganske langt unna. JR-stasjonen i Wakkanai tar 3 timer og 45 minutter å nå fra Asahikawa. Deretter for å komme til Chitose by fra Asahikawa. Tidligere brukte jeg det for å komme meg til den østlige delen av Hokkaido. Det er så enkelt å ta tog ved å bestille billetter på JR-stasjonene. Hvis man tar buss, tar det for lang tid. Tog er et bedre valg og en bedre beslutning.

Good easy way for transport. They were very very punctual, just need to ask if confused but was super simple, easy and convenient.

The waiting counter is on the left-hand side as soon as you exit customs, so it's easy to find. Although the shuttle bus frequency is relatively low, we took advantage of the time between exiting customs and boarding the bus to take a quick look around the domestic terminal. Taking the shuttle bus means you don't have to drag your suitcase on the JR train. I will definitely book the shuttle bus in advance next time I go to Hoshino.

We booked a ride from the Westin back to the airport, but it turned out to be worth a day trip. The return journey was along the side of Lake Shikotsu, the weather was fantastic, and Mount Yotei was fully visible. The shadows of the trees, like an old film reel, were so beautiful that you didn't want to blink. It was so worth it.
