Wir haben die Teezeremonie morgens spontan gebucht und es war ein einzigartiges und ganz besonderes Erlebnis, das sicher ein Highlight unserer Reise durch Japan war. Die Etiquette rund um japanischen Tee wird hervorragend erklärt. Und die Durchführung durch den Meister ist beeindruckend. Danach macht man seinen eigenen Matcha, was ebenfalls sehr interessant war. Insgesamt eine große Empfehlung!

My husband and I absolutely loved this experience. This was a stand out experience of our Kyoto trip. The session was a small group setting with the Tea Master and his Assistant. In our session we had Tea Master Mana and Assistant Nikko who stepped us through the history, importance and steps of a tea ceremony before proceeding with the ceremony itself. we then were able to make our own matcha afterwards. Both Mana and Nikko were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. You can also rent kimonos to wear during the ceremony for a small fee. We would highly recommend this tour!

Fue una experiencia inolvidable, cogimos el complemento del kimono (muy asequible por cierto). La ceremonia fue un remanso de paz en un viaje acelerado por Japón y Corea. Escaleras empinadas que lo dificultan un poco si tienes movilidad reducida.

Très belle activité 🥰 Malgré un problème d'horaire lors de la réservation sur la plateforme, l'équipe a été très arrangeante pour s'adapter à notre planning. L'expérience est très intimiste on était 6 invités. Très bien pour ceux qui recherchent une aventure authentique loin du commerce de masse touristique 😉.

Very educational and fun experience! The assistant the tea master were friendly and nice, they took the time to explain the culture and history and also answered any questions we had during the ceromony.

What an amazing experience!! One I will remember for a very long time. I chose a seated experience as I struggle to sit on the floor. I was with 5 other people and we sat on stools at tables. We were given an introduction from Nikko whose English was amazing in an outer room. We went into a second room for the ceremony. Each part was explained and Tea Master Mana showed us exactly what we needed to do. I had hired a kimono in a different experience but there was chance on the day to wear the outer garment Kimono or Haori for photos. There was plenty of time to get photos at each step. This was a very zen experience making the matcha tea during the ceremony. Such a great location, just of Ninenzaka. Had a serene and delightful experience at the tea-making ceremony! The host was knowledgeable and guided us through the process with such care. The tea was amazing, and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Highly recommend for a relaxing and cultural experience!

The hosts were very kind and welcoming, making the atmosphere warm and relaxed. The location is also wonderful — right near Ninenzaka, which adds to the charm.
