Staff was helpful. Loved the location…not in the middle of the busiest tourist area but not far, still walkable and tram options nearby. Good value for Amsterdam and I would stay there again. I knew the room would be small but two people with not even a lot of luggage was tight. Opt for the larger room.

Is was just ok. No air conditioning, very hot in the room. The carpet in the hallway are filthy, actually gross. The towels need to be replaced. We didn't have the breakfast bit it is in a subterranean basement. The staff was very nice, and the hotel is just outside the party zone.

The room was small but clean and functional. No A/C but we used the fan and kept the windows open (and earplugs on) to sleep and it was fine. Great location in the museum district.

Air conditioning would have been nice but we were there during a European heat wave. Location was perfect.

Loved the location. Fantastic access to the Van Gogh museum and Rijksmuseum. Also to the bus (#397) to get to the airport. Did not like that there was no AC for the sun-facing rooms. There were fans but the room was still very hot. Also, the refrigerator in the room was not cold. Asked for a replacement or repair but no joy. The shower stall would not drain properly. The hotel did have a working elevator big enough for two or three with bags. Nice indoor terrace area to relax outside the room. Had the room ready early and the nice lady at reception let us check in early even though we had expected to be just able to drop off our bags.

Definitely book with the breakfast! Delicious and lots of variety. It’s quieter than the downtown area. Very convenient to the museums and canal boat tours (which are also fantastic). Close to Vondelpark too for tranquility and greenery. No air conditioning but that’s typical for Amsterdam. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Late arrival after 11pm no problem. Room basic but served us well. Staff very friendly. In a very good area. No air conditioning but a fan that worked. Would stay again
