This is very close to Gare De l'Est train station. That was the only positive thing to say. There is no AC system and the room was hotter inside than outside. We were there in the summer. We could not connect to the wifi. The television was not plugged in. The room felt dirty, but it was more likely than not just old. The shower / tube combo was difficult to get in and out of. We were on the 1st floor (really 2nd floor) and were above a restaurant / cafe. We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but ended up staying only one nights due to the heat, noise and shower situation.

The website offers WIFI, but there were no WIFI in any of the rooms (2nd and 4th levels) and even downstairs (none in the breakfast room) and it was sporadic and dropping you every five minutes even if you stayed by the reception desk. The breakfast was very good and the lady helping for the breakfast was very nice.

Todo bien en el hotel, pero cuando llegue me dijeron que tenía reservada dos habitaciones por dos noches, cuando solo ocupe una habitación por dos noches. La otra reserva me la cobraron y dejé asentado mi reclamo al retirarme del hotel. Exijo la devolución del importe por esa segunda reserva que no ocupé, son USD 156. Espero que el Hotel tenga la amabilidad de devolverme el dinero.

Great location, building was old (not in a bad way) room was ok but very dated, bathroom was not the nicest. Lots of restaurants around, grocery store across the road

In the past I stayed at this hotel several times as I valued the location close to Gare de l'Est, the cleanliness and the competitive price. There had never been a problem leaving luggage at the hotel for a few hours on the day of departure. However, this time we were informed on short notice that this option was no longer available because of safety concerns. Then, on the day of the scheduled arrival I received an email to tell us that because of a technical fault the hotel could not accommodate us. In fairness, the had arranged a room in a nearby location and honoured the price originally quoted. Still, the service and the appearance of the hotel has declined over the years.

Breakfast and hostess were way better than expected.

Hot water was not running. Sink was clogged. Loud around 4am. Had to move out in the middle of the stay

Room was clean and very spacious

It took several requests to get the shower soap dispenser fixed. When we arrived the shower flooded, luckily they did fix it. Noise was unbearable all through the night.
