It was okay. We requested two twin beds, which they gave us - though they were covered and connected by one sheet and only one sheet was provided, so really it was one bed with a split in the middle, kinda weird. We also didn't get a room key because the lock was broken. Overall it was okay, nothing crazy to complain about. Really it's best if you just need somewhere to stay the night like we did, but it definitely could be better for the price.

The information stated there was air conditioning, there was only ventilator fans which in the Paris heat wave made the room almost unbearable. You are not able to use the kitchen to cook, which kind of defeats the purpose of a hostel. Staff were matter of fact and would answer questions but did not go above and beyond. The rooms were not very well cleaned especially the bathroom which smelt like urine on arrival. The shower had no hot water the first couple of days, luckily we only needed cold because it was so hot. We understand it is a hostel and you pay for what you get but a bit more attention to cleaning and some simple amenities would make this place so much better. The location was superb. Right in the middle of Montmarte, quiet enough but close to lots. Such a vibrant area and always something going on. We loved the area and having the accommodation there was awesome.

Absolument dégoûtant comme endroit. Je ne recommande pas à personne de rester là par choix. Les chambres sont délabrées et clairement, la propreté n’est pas une priorité pour eux. Tout est sale, limite insalubre. Il n’y a pas d’eau chaude pour prendre sa douche. L’odeur de la salle de bain donne mal au cœur. Le déjeuner qui était annoncé était un buffet continental. Quand nous sommes arrivées pour déjeuner, on nous a dit que finalement, il fallait réserver d’avance pour manger et ce n’était pas un buffet, c’était un plateau préparé par leur personnel qui consistait d’un bout de baguette, d’une pomme et d’un yogourt. Très très déçue de l’expérience globale de cette auberge de jeunesse. Le personnel avait l’air mêlé et peu compétent. Nous avions des serviettes pour prendre nos douches, mais on nous a donné des serviettes humides. Une vraie blague. Je ne serais pas surprise d’avoir des punaises de lit après avoir séjourné là! À éviter autant que possible!!

We stayed at the end of May when Paris was hotter than the seasonal average. The room was a family room with private bathroom, all very clean. We had a double bed and two singles in a separate area. The room was comfortable and I felt good value. Breakfast was included - basic but again, good value. Staff were helpful and spoke good English. The only problem was that it was unseasonably hot and although there was an air on unit in the room, it wasn’t working. To be fair, I wasn’t really expecting air con and if it hadn’t been over 30 degrees it would have been fine. Overall it was basic and a little tired, but good value and ultimately I felt like we got what we paid for.

Poor hygiene, no amenities in the lobby (not even drinking water), only one hand towel for two people in a twin room. Did not meet the description or our expectations, more like a budget hostel than it seems.

Friendly staff, but the accommodation is very basic. Location isn't bad - a short walk to Sacre Couer. A bed to rest your head at night, but not somewhere to relax.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. When I was not happy with the original room they put us in (not what I had booked online with a photo of the room), they immediately put me in the proper room which was spacious for 4 people. It was conveniently located in Montmartre which was perfect for Bakeries, restaurants, and view points. I enjoyed my stay.

Staff never replied to my email. Facility is complete trash. Ruins reputation of Hotels.com
