The room was okay but a bit rundown. Walls are thin so there was lots of noise from the plumbing and people walking around. Room had a window on the pavement, which wasn’t great because you can’t open it or leave the curtains open. Aside from the downsides, the room was fine and the air conditioner worked well. The location is good, right next to the museums. Overall serviceable but not worth the price.

Great experience, the location was quiet while still being close to the busy areas of Amsterdam. Great room and friendly staff.

The good part about the hotel was that the counter staff generally tried to be helpful. The room was an okay size. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. The location worked for us because it was near the museums but on a quiet street. It had good working air conditioning which was important for us during July. There were a couple of good restaurants near by and you could walk or take tram to any part of the city easily. The breakfast the hotel offered was just ok. They could have offered some better fruit, bread or pancakes or something. You could find better breakfasts elsewhere which we did for 4 days. We initially had a room with two separate single beds but we wanted beds together. They were able to accommodate us which was nice. The beds were not great. They had a topper which was really soft and would just slide off the side of the bed. My travel partner and I both had stains on part of our sheets and the towels were also stained. This was the case no matter how many times they replaced them during a 5 night stay. The washroom window opened at the top for some fresh air. The carpet and drapes in the room could stand to be replaced. The room also did not have a bar fridge to keep anything cold which for a longer stay would have been nice.

George was great! He helped us out by getting our 4 rooms close to each other, helped us get to the places we wanted to do, and how to use the train pass. Thank you so much George.

The man at the front desk was so kind and accommodating to us. His hospitality is what I will always remember.

We had a really good stay at XO Hotels Inner Amsterdam. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the tram stop, with plenty of local shops nearby, and the museums and Vondelpark are all within easy walking distance. There were also vending machines in the hotel, which were handy for drinks and snacks. The room was clean and comfortable, although there was a little dust in a few places, but nothing that affected our stay or was worth complaining about. Breakfast was available, although we didn’t use it, so we can’t comment on the food. The only real downside was the noise from the corridor. Our room was next to the staff exit used by the cleaners, so it could be a bit noisy at times. Other than that, we really couldn’t fault the hotel and would happily stay here again.

It would have helped if we had a couple of drawers in addition to the small closet. The staff was exceedingly helpful.

Quadruple room on the 5th floor is good option for families as long as you don't have very large suitcases. A/C with individual control, compared to other rooms where you are either freezing or too hot is worth climbing 14 steps of 3” depth from 4th floor (no elevator past 4th floor). Breakfast was of average quality, especially watery eggs every day, or over boiled eggs. but everything else in the buffet works ok for a quick bite before heading out.
