Lovely staff great location

Basic accommodations. A little outdated. Will stay elsewhere next time.

We had a lovely stay at Isabel Guest House! Clean and cheerful, a pleasant couple minutes' walk to San Giovanni station, great local restaurants, and a handy kitchen we used for storing leftovers and making coffee in Bietti pots! Would definitely stay here again!

Wife and I had a great time at the location. Easy check in, easy to find, and a few blocks away from the metro station (3-5m). The bed was comfortable and the fact there were extra pillows available was great. My wife and I walk a lot (clocked over 480km in Japan over 3 weeks) - we stayed in Rome for 3 days and walked about 20-30km/day. The Colosseum is roughly a 20m measure walk from the guest house and there are some great Cafes along the way, a few general stores, and some markets. It's a few stops away from the main train station so easy to get to! Also some terrific lesser known Roman Sites in the area (walls, etc). Area has a lot of graffiti (seems normal in Rome since my last visit 10 years ago). Outside of that we felt very safe. It's 15-20 minutes by metro to the Vatican Museum. It may seem like it's far away on aap but it's a great location.

Perfect for what we were looking for ... clean, quite conveniently located. Guilia was a fantastic host and provided plenty of recommendations for the local area too Very handy accommodation for visiting Rome

Staying at Isabel has been one of the most enjoyable stays for me. From the option of having someone pick us up and help us with late check in (Gracie Muna!!!) to the host giving us options around the area for good food that was actually the best food we had in Rome. The room was spacious and comfortable with our own bathroom. The shared space was quiet and comfortable. There are so many cafes and restaurants around to keep you busy for days. It’s a short walk to some amazing landmarks. I would absolutely stay here again without any doubts. I’m actually looking forward to it. Grazie mille for an amazing first experience in Rome!!!

Nice and clean, very effective attention with useful tips for the stay
