We stayed here at the very end of our 2 week trip, and I must say I was pretty disappointed considering all the great reviews. We arrived at 6pm during a heatwave to find the front door locked and no one at the front desk. Rang the bell 3 times and was finally let in 10 mins later by other guests that were exiting. We waited in the lobby for another 10 minutes until the front desk employee finally arrived, unapologetic and irritated that someone had let us in...0 stars for service. The room itself was clean and modern, a typical, small, 3 star European hotel room. The only issue with the room was the AC, rather the absolute lack of AC. There was an AC control unit, but it did nothing. We set it to 18C and it was a constant 30+ C in the room. This wasn't helped by the fact that we were on the top floor, essentially an attic space with a tiny window, so we were miserably sweaty all night. The location of this hotel can't be beat if you need to catch an early flight and don't want to stay at an airport hotel, but we will definitely not be staying here again, especially not in the summer.

This hotel was in a great location, near Paddington Station. It's on a tree-lined street and near Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park so that the area is very pleasant. The room was very clean and quiet, and air-conditioned which was welcome during the hot summer days we were there.

Great location, small compact hotel, but clean and reasonable size room for London. Only 5 mins walk to Paddington Station which is a perfect location for all journey routes. Hotel Housekeeping was great, coffee/tea machine & chilled water available 24/7 in the reception area (very welcoming for the hot weather we experienced). Breakfast was continental buffet but we got lots for what we needed. Good service & friendly staff. Request a front facing room if possible. Would have no hesitation in returning here.

The air conditioning was useless… that’s the only reason for 3 stars. It didn’t work and I spent the night drenched in sweat

A lovely gem near Paddington. Very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff and a nice free coffee machine.
