Hotel is conveniently located for old town and train station. Rooms are quirky and live up to name of hitel being old train themed. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Downsides were that the bathrooms were cramped, there were two single sheets on mattress rather than double sheet so crumpled up and there is no air con (that is as advertised but worth repeating). They do breakfast, but there is so much to offer locally we ate out round the corner

The staff was very helpful and even allowed us to check in early because our room was ready and this was hugely appreciated. The Small fridge in the room was so helpful! Location was amazing. The only limitation of our particular room was that there was no air-conditioning but it is fair given that we paid a very inexpensive price in the summer months. This also worked out quite fine in the end because it was not too hot, and they gave us a nice fan which made a big difference. I would go back especially since there are dedicated gluten-free restaurants nearby, Marienplatz and subway, are just five minute walk.

The staff was pleasant, continental breakfast was ok. Nifty theme well done in the room. The room was quite warm with days near 80 degrees F and still warm in there at night. Tap water was too warm to drink but there were 2 complementary bottles but not helpful for filling water bottles. Even at night it was hard to cool down. Would be nice to have even a small toiletries shelf in the bathroom.

Quaint hotel near all attractions. Very helpful staff and clean facilities and rooms.

A perfectly fine hotel for the price. Has some nice quirks and style which make it much more interesting than a mediocre chain hotel with better amenities. The location is pretty perfect for foot travel across the city. The breakfast is nice. The staff is lovely. The rooms are tiny. The shower is tiiiiiny. I would still return happily!!

The hotel is cute, the theme is great. Was quiet, wondered if anyone else staying, until met one couple in lift. great positioning to everything. However the lack of Aircon was a problem, due to a heatwave. The ceiling fan can not manage in 30deg. So had to checkout a night earlier, to go elsewhere, so could get some sleep. In the end that was a wise decision as we had an early flight and the direct line to airport was closed due to maintenance. Thus been near airport meant les stress and yes some much needed sleep.

All good bar no aircon. Is an issue in 28C heat!
