Great hotel! We had a super stay.

The little kitchette in the room was great. Lovely little hotel with great staff and excellent location, right outside a train station. Thoroughly recommend.

We visited Zurich last week, with our family of 2 children. We had 2 rooms, connected through one door. The main complaint we have is that this hotel does not offer air conditioning. While I am aware that temps in Zurich are often not high enough to need it, that is not the experience we had. The rooms were controlled via one set temperature, as was explained to us, but the problem is that when you are on a top floor, or are facing south, because we did not have the ability to control our own unit, we were at the mercy of the windows, which did not offer any resolution. The hotel states they set their rooms at 22 degrees as a way to become efficient,but without any central heat or air, there is no possible way to ensure each room is heated or cooled to a reasonable temperature. When we complained to the hotel, they did provide fans, but fans only circulate warm air! I say this as someone who has traveled a lot, all over Europe and Latin America. How a hotel can advertise they are 4 stars and not offer climate-controlled rooms is a shock to me.

We had a lovely stay at Locke Am Platz! Thao gave us a wonderful check in, and the hotel made us feel very special for our honeymoon, it was unexpected and very kind! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, brilliant location, peaceful street and cool and unique rooms.

Great location and clean hotel!

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was well equipped and having the kitchenette was useful. There was no air con or fan which was disappointing given the heatwave. Location is great. Breakfast is basic but enough to keep you going till lunch.

The location was great, the room was as described very spacious and to a high standard. Staff friendly and helpful.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely stay again when traveling to or through Zürich. Friendly and helpful staff, lots of info posted about things to do in the area as well as upcoming events. Truly a lovely experience.
