The first of its kind, the Museum of Sex was founded in 2002 in order to present and preserve the history, evolution and significance of human sexuality. The founders believe in encouraging discourse about sex and sexuality, and aim to provide insight through each and every exhibit found in their museum. And this is exactly what you'll get when you walk into the Museum of Sex. Filled with all kinds of artifacts from photographs and paintings, to costumes and sex toys, the museum houses an ever-growing collection of sex-related items. The Museum also holds lectures, and publishes books on human sexuality which you can purchase at their store.
