We serve creative Japanese dishes made with miso from across Japan and fresh seasonal seafood, along with a selection of premium sake. Our chefs put their heart into each dish to help guests rediscover the deliciousness of miso. Our course menu features a miso tasting, assorted seasonal sashimi, and Kyoto-raised Black Wagyu miso sukiyaki. We also offer a refined drink selection to pair with the food, including Dassai, Ippakusuisei, and Matsunotsukasa. Kyo Kaiseki KINMATA (近又) in Kyoto

Established in 1801, the first generation was from Omiya, and was called Omiya Matabachi. At first, he opened "Omiya" on the hexagonal string in Kazutani-cho. At that time, it was the usual place for drug dealers in Omiya. The two-story wooden building, the entrance made of red shells, the bamboo garden, and the cypress bath with an umbrella-shaped ceiling are typical of Kyoto townhouses for more than 200 years. It is still open for business as usual.
