We travelled in winter, there were few people staying, so the bar and kitchen were closed. I get that it is not profitable to open a bar for 2 couples, but let’s state that up front during the booking.

Exceptionally helpful staff and rooms are good for the price point

Staff very friendly and helpful. Big room overlooking the neighbouring vineyard. Breakfast cooked to individual taste plus cereals, pastry etc. Barrista coffee. Walking distance to wineries, food, Gin, beer tasting, pub atmosphere across the road. Many km of bike/walking trails. Restaurant was closed due to changing chefs, but so many places around to eat, did not detract from the overall experience. WiFi a bit dodgy but technician on site to fix it and hey... we're out in the countryside. Would stay here again.

Basic and Clean room, no spare toilet paper, breakfast ordinary but nice room. Plenty parking, nice area.

The breakfast was bad. Instead of hot breakfast, we have only been supplied cold so called "continental breakfast" despite we paid in full for that. For that, we have to lodge a formal complaint in another email.

Failure to attend to maintenance item as promised was disappointing and saw us deal with the problem ourselves (at our own cost).

First look at the room there was dirt on the bed like outside ground dirt like something was placed there that was previously on soil Next there was a half eaten fruit salad in the fridge .the bathroom didn't appear clean there was spiderwebs in each corner of the bathroom The aircon is broken like plastic broken of The tv ...first of all the remote only turned the tv off and on that's it .the tv picture was sooo bad going funny colours and clearly not watchable The real disappointment was still to come with breakfast the next morning You couldn't call it that it was terrible the service none existing we asked for coffee the lady in charge said there is the urn of hot water and the same awful coffee satchels we have in the room and a jug of milk .just to then discover they had a proper coffee machine but she was to lazy to use it No butter no bred no toast we left even that we had booked for 2 nights just awful
