Fantastic I don’t usually write reviews for hotels but this one has to be praised. It’s an excellent concept hotel with a central location. But what I loved the most is their attention to detail. Their focus on aesthetics goes hand in hand with functionality. The staff is super helpful (the supervisor lifted my luggage up the stairs and into the elevator!!). They leave small snacks around to enhance the experience and they give you a thoughtful gift when you check out! They also prepared a nice breakfast the night before for me to take when I leave in the very early morning. The one thing I will mention though is that the AC was not working but the fan was enough for me.

Fantastic Great location. Staff was excellent and helped us with our questions about the area ( restaurants, local travel, etc..). Room was fun and also interesting ( Shoemaker. room). Highly recommend the canal view rooms. Breakfast provided was very nice

Fantastic Absolutely loved it. I’ve stayed at a lot of places and this would has a level of intentionality and attention to detail that makes it really memorable. I stayed in The Bookbinder room, which is advertised—and is, tiny. I pack light so this wasn’t an issue for me. And the room been really cleverly laid out so it was compact and was clean and comfortable, and still had everything needed (and Santal 33 soap and lotion).
The staff responded quickly (via WhatsApp), and were very friendly and helpful, such as with recommendations.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious—they give you a choice between eating in your room or in their restaurant space. You have to sign up for a time, and the only thing to flag is that that space is slightly limited so sign up early if you want a specific time (I didn’t want to eat in my room).

Very quirky interesting hotel. Nice people good location. A very old house with all that comes with that, so don’t expect massive rooms.

Fun place to stay (on a canal), with a marvelous staff and a huge breakfast. Some great restaurants nearby (De Belhamel and Sagardi).
The staircase is narrow and winding, and the elevator holds either two people or one person and a bag). Each room honors a craft; we were in The Tanner, with a great view of the neighborhood.
