Below average The bed was fine, but the room had not been cleaned well. The curtain fell off the wall and was not repaired during my stay, despite my request. There was also a motion-sensor light outside the window above the bed that repeatedly turned on throughout the night, which was disturbing. There's no way to deadbolt the door from the inside so that it can't be opened from the outside with a key, which made me feel uneasy. I'd say this is a fine stay for a man, but not a woman on her own.

Great The room was cute and clean, and staff was helpful, but we could only reach them by text. I would like to suggest that a location that has no front desk automatically provide enough towels for the number of guests registered to stay that night. Or even the number that can fit in the room.

Great I chose this inn because of its location more than anything else. It looks a bit run-down on the outside (it's actually two older homes reworked as guest houses), but the room was pleasant and comfortable. Lighting in the bathroom was not ideal at the sink, but fine for the shower. Two restaurants nearby was a plus. The parking area is on an alley behind the building, and a little tricky to maneuver in and out. There's no staff on site most of the time, but when I checked in, there was a very helpful employee who answered a few questions.

Fantastic Hi Art INN Seattle is WONDERFUl and eclectic and beautiful space. The hotel is in the middle of a homey neighborhood. It is beautifully decorated with fun things about Seattle and great art. It feels like home which is what I needed. The process to get in was great and the staff is wonderful. The property is clean, great room with an amazing large bathroom and shower. In the heart of downtown Seattle making getting around wonderful. As a Black woman traveling alone, I felt safe being on the property. I also felt safe during both day and evening hours. I would highly recommend the Art INN in Seattle for anyone wanting to be at home in a space that is not your home! Thank you to the entire staff for a wonderful stay.

FantasticStayed with partner
Very nice on the inside. Outside needs a good power wash, pretty dirty and there was a pile of garbage swept in front of the Inn.
Bed and pillows were very comfy. Bathroom and shower very clean. Fridge was pretty small. Air conditioning worked very well!! Perfect little room for a one night stay. Offsite staff were very helpful with check in process.
We got off a cruise ship with all our luggage, they were able to accommodate storing that for us so we could explore the city.

GreatStayed with family
There are stairs to the front door. There is a handrail, but only on one side. The handrail is not extremely sturdy, and it does not reach the top of the staircase. It was very challenging for me to navigate and I had to ask someone else to get my luggage down the steps. The gravel parking lot was acceptable, but difficult to maneuver in. To drive out, it was necessary to go down a narrow alley and exit on the next block. Otherwise, it was a peaceful stay. We slept well on the comfortable beds.

GoodSolo stay
Parking was tight on an alleyway. Close to meeting site for business. Old converted house. No staff on site.

GreatSolo stay
The building is an old house converted into rooms. It has no one working on the property so you let yourself in with the Inn's phone app. I had difficulty with it at first but someone answered my SMS message quickly and helped me get in. After that all was fine, you just need to make sure your phone is charged.
The room was an average size with a small desk. The bathroom had a large floor space. Everything was clean.
The air conditioning worked. There was a Smart TV. If you wanted streaming, though, you needed to use your own accounts.
The parking was in a back alley off the street. It did look like their was street parking available by the inn.
The area is out of downtown, maybe a 40 minute walk to Pike Market. It seemed like a safer area close to residential houses.
In general, for the price, I think it is a good place to stay.

Below average There is “NO” customer service, they want you to do everything via e-mail or text messages!
I will stand in line at the counter next time so I can get problems resolved!
Good luck with this place
