Such a lovely apart-hotel, cosy hotel room (bigger than you’d think!) and on the hottest day of the June 2026 heatwave was incredible with air con in the room!
I’d let the hotel know via the check in link that it was my daughters birthday, and they provided us with macarons and a birthday note to my daughter.
The kitchen was fully stocked for everything we would need, and as I said, during the hottest day, they knocked on our door to offer ice cubes to help cool us down.
Honestly really enjoyed our stay, and would love to return at a later date.

We’d booked an apartment for the hottest June day of the year. When we arrived check-in was ok and we were able to access our room quickly. The main issue was the lack of aircon during a heatwave. We had a small baby and an elderly person in our party. We were told that there weren’t any maintenance staff on duty so we’d be given a fan. On the third contact with reception the fan was brought up and it made the night only slightly less miserable. Our apartment was very expensive so I expect fully functioning aircon for that ridiculous amount. The rest of the experience was good, so it was a real shame that it was marred by the lack of air conditioning. The kitchen and shower were great and the breakfast was nice. Staff were pleasant but more should be done to deal with basic issues like ventilation when you’re charging so much.

Fantastic Room looked just like in the pics. It is well-appointed. We stayed nine nights. They only clean once--you do have to pay for additional cleaning. But they send up any supplies that you need--fresh towels, tissues, etc. Ours had a kitchenette with small fridge and microwave. Bathroom was nice.Staff was friendly and helpful.
There are two coffee machines that are self-serve on the main floor--they have espresso, hot chocolate, and lattes. The dining area can be used in the evening for relaxing, card-playing, and so on. We didn't try the breakfast.
Location is quite close to the Holborn tube station--very convenient. If you take the Picadilly Line from Heathrow it leaves you so close to the hotel. The only negative about Holborn is that there are 26 steps that must be taken. So luggage must be hauled up or down those steps. Picadilly is also convenient for getting to so many of the tourist sites.
The hotel is an easy walk to Covent Garden. Moreover, there are numerous bus lines just around the corner that can take you to "the city"--the Tower of London and the financial district.
The two elevators are unusally small. Both say they can hold 8 people but 4, maybe 5 people is the limit.
Overall, this is a great area to stay for visitors because it is so easy to get just about anywhere. The British Museum is just blocks away, as is Oxford St., one of the main shopping streets. Two supermarkets are within three blocks. We felt safe walking the city. And it's quiet.

FantasticSolo stay
Very clean. The Google casting to the TV is a nice touch. If you are planning to cook, the down side is there is no oil or spices, so you end up wasting money on these things. It would be nice if you could use communal supplies for cooking so you don't have to buy so much.
The breakfast is mediocre. I recommend you skip it. I'm vegan and there was only beans available the first day, and mushrooms the next two. Not good.
Otherwise, great stay. Will definitely stay again and bring my own breakfast.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff at check in were so lovely and helpful. The doors to get in need the keycard which is a nice touch for the a hotel in such a busy area, the hotel was very warm though the aircon was set at a certain temperature and it wasn’t able to move which isn’t the best when it’s a heatwave! No other faults as the room was perfect, the bed was so comfy and the kitchenette came in handy too. Bathroom could’ve been bigger but for the size of the room overall it was fine.
