Fantastic

The property was very clean and well maintained. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and the man who checked us in gave us a recommendation about where we could grab dinner.

Not a great experience at this hotel that is supposedly highly rated. The front desk during check in was very pleasant. Once we arrived in the room, it was quite warm. We opened a window and called for someone to check the air conditioning unit. A maintenance person showed up pretty quickly and started playing with the thermostat but it seemed he really didn’t know what he was doing. He told me the thermostat was bad and he would send someone up to replace it. I told him that we were going to check out the city but to go ahead and take care of the thermostat while we were out. When we were leaving and going by the front desk, a different person was there (Gulio,I believe was the name). The guy kept telling me we could switch rooms or just wait for the thermostat. I told him we had no issue waiting for the thermostat repair while we were out. Upon our return later in the night, they made zero repairs to the thermostat and he began telling me that the maintenance person wasn’t available. I then decided to change rooms. When we went to the other room, the air conditioner didn’t work either and room was like a closet. I went back downstairs and Gulio began to tell me more stories about why the air conditioner wasn’t working. He then started telling me that the air conditioner only works for several hours a day. We were there during the hours that he said and the air conditioner never worked. He then began to tell us it didn’t work because of special city rules in Rome. Terrible!

Great location, easy walk from Roma Termini, pleasant staff, fantastic breakfast buffet, comfy beds, Only negative was the lukewarm to cool water temp for showering. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

The hotel is in the city center, close to central station, about 7 minutes walk. Breakfast is ok, staff is polite friendly. It is difficult to find curb side parking, I have to park the car few blocks away and 4 euro for 8 hours. The room does not have kettle, even the power outlet is difficult to find. There is only one.

Upon arrival, I was told there no 2 single bed rooms left (despite it being booked under the reservation) and there none available until the next day. Until magically there was a room available with 2 single beds which is what I paid for in the beginning, not sure why it wasn't available from the start... Breakfast options were poor, with Luke warm boiled eggs, some bread and Luke warm yogurts for options, so I would not advise getting the breakfast added on to your booking if you're thinking about it. Only one plug in the room available, a shower with no shower curtain. Small room with small storage but that's ok if your only staying a weekend.
