Solo stay

Lovely hotel. Great 360 viewing rooftop. Rooms were spacious and pretty nice view across Barcelona. Area where hotel is was a bit dodgy, I wouldn't be wearing expensive jewellery etc. But apart from that all good.

The Hotel itself is wonderful. The area it is in, is not. We travelled as a family and personal safety was definitively a concern. Both from the subway station to the hotel and when we left Barcelo Raval. The sign in the lobby that says “personal safety is everyone’s responsibility” says it all. The staff work very hard are helpful, patient and kind. The pool although small was a nice bonus to use while waiting for our room. We used the rooftop patio everyday/night. Unfortunately we won’t be back, only because the area was too much for us.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, had everything you could need, and the staff were extremely helpful. The location is within walking distance to lots of popular tourist attractions, though the neighbourhood can be a little sketchy at night. But the hotel itself is fab!

Well, the hotel was okay but for 500 bucks more you get a much nicer place and most importantly in a much nicer/safer neighborhood. the neighborhood is terrible. Drug dealers sitting on the wall, waiting for clients, homeless people sleeping in the inner court of the building and getting into fights in the middle of the night and you hear them screaming... sorry but never again this place even if the staff is friendly the breakfast is good and the room is clean but the neighborhood kills it...

L'hôtel est très propre et le personnel est très gentil et la terrasse au 11 étage est magnifique la vue ,par contre l'emplacement je moins aimer car la plage de la Barceloneta est un peu loin.

I'd be back here as the staff was very nice and helpful. The location is just perfect for people who like history, the sea, going shopping, etc. I highly recommend this hotel.

When we were dropped off at the hotel, the taxi driver told us to watch our belongings which I thought was a little strange. We couldn't check in right away and decided to walk over to the LaRambla area. Felt very uneasy getting there. Got back to hotel and finally went up to desk to see if room was ready and it was. If I hadn't noticed another guest going up, we might be still waiting. No notification by the desk even though they had our email address. Area felt very unsafe and the second night, a homeless camp set up right next to the hotel in the park adjoining the hotel. People yelling, dogs barking, you can imagine we got hardly any sleep. We were grateful to be checking out the second day. Will never return to that hotel. I know the hotel has little to do with what goes on around it, but they never warned us about the area, only the taxi driver did.
