Below averageStayed with family
The single staff member was polite. We booked a triple room. Ideally located on the main level however difficult to get to. It’s thru a door to a common area that only fits a single person with luggage. We had to enter 1 at a time closing the common door and entering the unit before the next person could come thru. The beds were hard, the single pillow provided per bed were awful. Luckily it was too warm to sleep with the duvet so we used those a pillows only to see they were stained. The bathroom didn’t provide any shower soaps. A single towel per guest. Mold in the stall shower and edges needs recaullking. There was an inch of moldy sludge visible in the shower drain. We read the ratings before booking and seen it had some issues. I’ve previously stayed in a range to 1-4 star hotels without issue. I figured it couldn’t be so bad for the location and the high price tag but I was so wrong. We stayed the first night only because we arrived close to midnight but left first thing in the morning to find other accommodations. I wouldn’t even take picture of the grossness because then I would have to see it again.

GoodStayed with kids
The location of the Townhouse was great. It was easy to walk to the Victoria Train station, Westminster, and close to the theater. The lift wasn’t working when we were there, which wouldn’t have been terrible if the building wasn’t so hot inside. All the windows were closed, and even though it was relatively cool outside, it was very stuffy and warm inside. Once we opened our window and jammed a fan in it, it was better. Our beds were comfortable with clean bedding and the room wasn’t disgusting, but wasn’t super clean either. The shower had very low water pressure and the radiator was super rusty. However, this is a “get what you paid for” situation. Was the townhouse super nice? No. However, it was in a very nice neighborhood and very close to what we were planning to see. Other hotels in the neighborhood were three times the price. It was worth it to us, so we could spend that money elsewhere…. Like Hamilton tickets.

GoodStayed with friends
Quite small but definitely not bad. The only thing is we thought we would be getting free breakfast, however when we arrived there was a large sign saying no free breakfast.

GreatStayed with partner
Room was clean and basic, what we needed for a short stay. Staff were all friendly. Lift was out of order for our trip but we were on 2nd floor so not too bad for us. Short walk to Victoria station, with lots around, would return.

Room and hotel cleanliness fairly poor. Lift out of service, so had to carry luggage up for flights of stairs. However, location convenient and usually priced well. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, but it is ideal for travellers on a budget.

Below average Not worth the money. Felt like a half step up on a hostile. Crappy bath towels and no wash clothes or hand towels. Elevator didn’t work for entire visit.

GreatStayed with friends
Clean room, shops nearby. Half hour walk to the Elizabeth Tower and Westminster Abbey. Hotel room is decent. Staff give out great directions when asked. Only thing that sucked was when the lift was out of order. No fun carrying luggage up and down the stairs.

FantasticSolo stay
Good access to Victoria station
Cheap stay for 1 or 2 nights in London but wouldn't stay for longer due to it being a minimalist hotel.
