The carpet in the room was filthy, the ac unit was not working during London’s recent heatwave and the bed was very uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but it seems like the maintenance of the building was severely lacking. The hotel is in a great location (about a 5 minute walk to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge) but I was very disappointed in the hotel itself.

The AC was not working. Room was too warm to sleep well. Asked to change rooms. Was told that all the rooms were warm. Asked for a price reduction. Email that was provided to start a complaint was undelivered. Would not go back despite the staff being very friendly and the breakfast being lovely.

The staff were wonderful and when I came in late at night and very hot they got me an extra water to hydrate. They helped me figure out the best way to some of my destinations so there were fewer transfers and more efficient timing. It was excellent to have Wagamama within a very short walk. I would stay there again.

The staff was amazing. I fell and broke my foot across the street from the hotel. When I hobbled back to the hotel the staff was very concerned and helpful. Assisted in calling me down, stabilizing my foot, calling emergency services and arranging a taxi for me to the hospital. The staff was amazing and I would definitely stay there again.
