GreatStayed with friends · For friends and family
I checked in online to make it easier and more streamlined but when I got there I had to do it again. What was the point?
The hotel is great, looks the part but there is no aircon, the bed was too soft (if your sharing a bed, if your partner moves, you move), pillows were very thin.
I think some minor things need to be done to make it a 5/5 but it was clean, staff friendly. Used to pool, clean with some beautiful views.

FantasticStayed with partner
We were on a day out at Royal Navy College watching Adriatique. We booked to save a laborious trip home. Really close the venue. We walked back after the event and took about 30 mins. The place is great. Friendly staff and security. Room was basic, but quiet and well ventilated. Sadly we didn’t get to use the pool and gym, but I will defo rebook and make use next time! I would stay again. I booked and used my Expedia credits and also got a vitality discount, so a little over £100 for a night in London is amazing. Well worth it and I’d recommend. 🎉

GoodStayed with partner
Great location for the O2, which is why we stayed. However, the room was small and no air conditioning, and with the window open the DLR trains are quite noisy. We probably should have closed the window and used the fan, but only found it in the morning. The room is well equipped though, small combi oven, fridge, kettle, iron etc. The swimming pool and other facilities are excellent. It would be good if some kind of breakfast could be included in the cost. But even so the breakfast was excellent and worth the cost.

FantasticStayed with partner
The room was sparkling clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel amenities were excellent from the cafe to the gym, from the kitchen to the swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms.
The Ark is one of my favourite hotels, especially were it is has situated, ideal for the DLR, Tube, restaurants etc.

Great Our stay for two nights whilst visiting the Capital were overall good. We have stayed in many hotels in London, this probably being the furthest away from the centre. It’s got great connection links for DLR in and out of the city as well as a lovely cafe on the ground floor offering tasty breakfast and coffee. Our room was very small, I guess I didn’t read up on the details well enough as the pictures showed a different room to what I expected but it wasn’t too much of an issue. The worst part of our stay was having to deal with the countless teenagers and young adults using the accommodation for long term stays. There was lots of footfall in and out of the building at all times but this wasn’t too bad during our visit. Rooftop pool was lovely but way too small to accommodate the amount of people that were in there when we visited. Hotel staff were okay,l overall. We probably won’t stay again, we will find a hotel which is an actual hotel and not joint with long term rentals.

Good Right next to a train line (useful but extremely noisy 5am - 12 midnight - you will need good ear plugs!!), we stayed in a studio it was very small (I'm a slim person and struggled to get in the shower! The bed very small for 2 - seems a queen rather than a double, but can't be sure). No A/C but a fan provided - Very hot in summer heat. Lacks TLC - the bed was sunken to one side, and the walls all scuffed (needed repainting). Overall an ok price for London, but we have stayed in better places without these issues for the same price.

Below average The rooms are super hot, the bedding especially mattress pad had stains, the bathroom had super bad odor, toilet doesn’t flush properly and the hallways don’t smell good. The bed didn’t have a fitted sheet just flat sheet.
