After hours spent in the sky, it was wonderful to settle into a spacious, comfortable room that felt instantly relaxing. The complimentary shuttle from the airport—arranged with just a quick phone call—made arriving stress-free and easy. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere with modern touches, and its location near Spitfire Square adds to the charm. I especially appreciated the considerate checkout time at 11 a.m., which gave me a gentle, unhurried start to the day.

Staff are nice! Unexpected to receive welcome hot cookie upon check-in. Breakfast quality is very good as well.

Drifter is located near the Metro Bus interchange (1 minute walking distance). Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was stylish and well maintained. All in all, it was a great accomodation.

We had a wonderful stay at Distinction Christchurch Hotel. The room was spacious, cozy, and very comfortable. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. We did have a small issue with the Wi-Fi and room phone not working initially, but the staff responded promptly and resolved it for us. Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d happily recommend this hotel.

The location is very convenient, as it's close to downtown, supermarkets, and transportation. The accommodation environment is also good; it's well-maintained and feels quite new. The rooms are equipped with both air conditioning and heating. Laundry and drying services are also very affordable. The only downside is the lack of an exhaust fan, so you need to be mindful of smoke and odors if you plan to cook or fry.
