I was lucky to get a first-row seat. Next time, I'll book first class; it should be quieter and have less smoke smell, right?! Xiamen North Station is quite large inside. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from where the taxi drops you off to the Kowloon boarding area. The food prices inside the high-speed rail station are also much higher.
