I liked the hotel but the staff were not very helpful. They said they can book me a taxi to my next destination and after I cancelled with my other driver they said they can’t anymore and they didn’t have any solutions or help for me so that ruined my plans on the last day and it wasted a lot my time trying to figure out how to get to my next destination because it wasted during a time where there was a lot of traffic in Bali.

We recently stayed at Maya Ubud for 2 nights with our family, and it was an absolute dream. The property grounds are incredibly extensive and meticulously well-maintained—every corner feels like a lush, tropical paradise that seamlessly blends into the natural jungle. The overall environment is deeply serene, offering the perfect peaceful escape from the bustling center of Ubud. ​Two highlights truly stood out for us: First, the riverside spa is world-class. Having a massage right by the rushing river, surrounded by nature, was an incredibly therapeutic experience. Second, as a family with dietary preferences, we were thrilled by the breakfast spread. They offered a fantastic, extensive variety of vegetarian-friendly options that were both delicious and high-quality. ​Maya Ubud balances luxury, nature, and family comfort perfectly !!

The resort is pure heaven. it has everything you could imagine, right in the middle of a forrest. amazing food but not super expensive. every night they have cultural shows. infinity pools are amazing. Spa is fabulous. the fact that it's ownership is local probably making the most difference. don't look anywhere else.
