We recently headed on this tour with the guide Yakuri, and it was fantastic! She was such a laugh and a fountain of knowledge. We had a relaxed walk around the Gion District of Kyoto with stops along the way for photos and information from Yakuri. Highly recommend! group size: there was about 15 people on our tour - perfect!

Joined the 1-Day Kyoto Tour with Sunrise Tours and it was an absolute highlight of our Japan trip. Our tour guide was incredibly informative, courteous, and thoughtful — sharing fascinating insights while ensuring everyone felt comfortable and included. Milo was my tour guide and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable on everything Kyoto and i thoroughly enjoyed listening to him. I also loved how he met me at my hotel. He took me to some lovely souvenir shops and around the Keisha district and out of the hustle and bustle. Overall great experience!

We had a great time on our tour to Amanohashidate Viewland, Ine no Funaya, and Miyama Thatched Village! Our tour guide, Rex, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire trip. He kept everyone informed and updated through WhatsApp, which made the tour easy to follow and well-organized. We especially appreciated how thoughtful Rex was toward the guests. When he noticed that some people might not have enough time to eat due to long waits at the restaurants, he kindly offered snacks. We decided to eat at a ramen restaurant since we figured it would be a quicker option, and it worked out well for us. One tip for anyone planning to take this tour is to check the weather forecast for the areas you'll be visiting and come prepared. It rained during our tour, but luckily, we had brought an umbrella! Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and appreciated Rex's attentiveness and efforts to make sure everyone was taken care of. We would definitely recommend this tour!

The tour was excellent! We had a wonderful experience taking the chairlift instead of the usual cable car, as recommended by our tour guide, Effy. She was very friendly and helpful, and we had a pleasant experience throughout the entire day tour. Effy also prepared a lovely gift for each of us as a souvenir from Japan, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you, Effy, for making our tour so memorable! ☺️
