amazing your in the night lights which it makes magic, nice experience to know the story of the geishas and to roaming around of the area of Kyoto old neighborhood, discovering pontocho and its delicious restaurants and vibrant atmosphere. specially in this season with cherries blossoms all over the city which color the area and give some romantic touch . good experienced and well prepared on all the events and excellent stories teller Wajad , the tour guide who explained accurately every single aspect of the area and the people leave in Gion . very pleased to have a such prepared guide

हमारे गाइड लोगन के साथ सूर्यास्त का दौरा बहुत अच्छा रहा, जो गियोन जिले और गीशा के जीवन के इतिहास और घटनाओं के बारे में बहुत जानकारीपूर्ण थे। कोई भी प्रश्न अनुत्तरित नहीं रहा। इसका पूरा आनंद लिया, बस काश यह थोड़ा गर्म होता।

This was an amazing tour, such good value and so informative. Ton our guide moved us at a good pace, shared great information and was very personable. Departing at dusk was THE BEST as we watched the lights come on down the small laneways and in the shrines. The route was so good we ended up retracing those same steps today. I would highly recommend this walking tour.

हम थिया के साथ क्योटो के दौरे पर गए थे। हमारे समूह में लगभग 10 लोग थे और यह लगभग 2.5 घंटे तक चला। क्योटो के इतिहास को देखने और समझने का यह कितना शानदार तरीका है। मेरे 9 और 12 साल के बच्चों को भी यह दौरा बहुत पसंद आया, आज पहले हमने जो किट्सुने कार्यशाला की थी, उससे भी ज़्यादा। थिया ने बहुत अच्छा काम किया, उन्होंने समूह को तस्वीरें लेने, अगर हम चाहें तो विभिन्न मंदिरों में प्रार्थना करने का समय दिया और अच्छी पारिवारिक तस्वीरें लेने में मदद की। टिप: सूर्यास्त से लगभग एक घंटे पहले का समय बुक करें ताकि आप कुछ मंदिरों को दिन के उजाले में देख सकें और रात में लालटेन के साथ गियोन को भी देख सकें।

हमारे गाइड केन बहुत जानकारीपूर्ण और धैर्यवान थे। हमें एक माइको को सड़क पर चलते हुए देखने का भी मौका मिला! गर्म/धूप वाले दिनों में देर दोपहर/शाम का दौरा बुक करना बेहतर है। क्योटो के दिलचस्प इतिहास के लिए धन्यवाद। यह वास्तव में एक खूबसूरत शहर है! काश हमने यहाँ घूमने के लिए और अधिक समय बिताया होता।

This was the highlight of our entire trip. We’re still talking about it two weeks on! Luis was a fantastic guide - he was patient, insightful and full of local knowledge. Walking through Gion’s streets and learning about geishas and their training was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. I’d go every night if I could! I’d absolutely recommend booking an evening slot - we booked 7pm. This meant the area was quieter and we could stop and take it all in without the chaos and crowds of the daytime. Cherry blossom season made it extra memorable for us! We went back and retraced our steps a few nights later ourselves. Such a great tour - absolutely book it! We’ll be back.

Aye was a fantastic guide, humorous and knowledgeable was like listening to a friend telling you a story. We thoroughly enjoyed it, even saw a Geisha and Maiko. The sakura at night was stunning to witness.

In the afternoon on our first day in Kyoto, we joined the Geisha Culture and History Walking Tour through Gion, and it was such an eye-opening experience. Our guides, Uta and Mai, were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, helping us understand the rich traditions, artistry, and history behind Kyoto’s geisha culture. They shared fascinating stories, pointed out hidden details in the streets and architecture, and explained how to respectfully observe geishas in their element. Thanks to Uta’s tip, we even got to see three geishas gracefully exiting a famous tea house—an unforgettable moment! This tour gave us a much deeper appreciation for the beauty and discipline of this centuries-old tradition. Truly one of the highlights of our trip to Kyoto!
