Rovaniemi

We had a very comfortable stay at Scandic Helsinki Aviapolis near Helsinki Airport. The location was ideal for our early flight, and the free shuttle bus to and from the airport made our departure effortless and stress-free. The room was clean, cosy and well suited for a restful night before flying. We especially enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet with a wide selection, which was perfect before our early start. The staff were friendly and efficient, and check-in/out was smooth. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling through Helsinki Airport — great value and very convenient!

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Aito Igloo Resort and Spa in Rovaniemi while celebrating our anniversary, and the entire experience was truly magnificent. They thoughtfully decorated our room and even surprised us with a small souvenir gift, which was such a lovely and memorable touch. Our package also included two complimentary hours each day at the Finnish sauna and spa, which was an incredible experience—relaxing, authentic, and the perfect way to unwind in the Arctic setting. The breakfast included in our stay was delicious with great variety and quality. Staying here felt like being in a true winter wonderland. The igloo experience, the peaceful snowy landscape, and the warm hospitality created an unforgettable atmosphere. Overall, the staff, the service, and the entire experience were amazing. I would definitely recommend staying at this resort to anyone visiting Rovaniemi and looking for a unique and memorable Arctic getaway.

Paul took great care of us – providing warm drinks, snacks. He helped everyone with taking professional pictures with his camera (I got some amazing shots on my phone as well!), and his enthusiasm kept spirits high all night. If you’re heading out to hunt the aurora, book a tour with Paul – he’s dedicated, knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile to make sure you see the lights. Highly recommend! 10/10 would do again.

फिनलैंड में एक बार फिर से नॉर्दर्न लाइट्स देखना बहुत खुशी की बात है। झील पर नॉर्दर्न लाइट्स बहुत खूबसूरत थीं, आज मौसम भी अच्छा था और हम भाग्यशाली भी रहे। मौसम बहुत ठंडा था, लेकिन यह नॉर्दर्न लाइट्स का पीछा करना इसके लायक था। अलाव और खाने का भी इंतजाम था, जो बहुत बढ़िया था!👍

मेरे लिए दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि मैं इस यात्रा पर नॉर्दर्न लाइट्स नहीं देख पाया। बहुत निराश हूँ। हालाँकि, मेरे दो गाइडों को बधाई, जिन्होंने इसे देखने की बहुत कोशिश की लेकिन कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ।

हमें गौड़िया ने गाइड किया और वह वास्तव में अच्छी, मददगार और मिलनसार भी थीं। वह रास्ते में मिली चीज़ों को समझाने में भी सक्षम थीं। हमने वहाँ बहुत सी चीज़ें आज़माईं! इस अनुभव के लिए धन्यवाद।

it was great , the staff jiji, and others were very polite, informative and helpful. the equipments were in great condition and clean too. the drive was of 1 hr and we enjoyed it a lot .
