Staying here with the kids this time was a wonderful overall experience! The room was clean and comfortable, and the children really loved the space and amenities in the family room. The hotel staff were also very friendly. The location is convenient, parking went smoothly, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of choices. It's a great place to stay when traveling to Taitung with children; the kids had a blast, the adults were able to get some good rest, and we would definitely visit again!

J'avais déjà visité une chambre avec bain thermal privé il y a quelques années, j'avais donc gardé un bon souvenir de ce complexe. Pour ce voyage à Taitung, j'ai pensé à Chihpen pour les sources chaudes et j'ai réservé cet hôtel. L'expérience globale a été très agréable, mais notre emploi du temps était trop serré, sinon j'aurais aimé rester quelques jours de plus !

Hotel Location: Beinan, Taitung, a short distance from the train station and downtown area. Transportation: You can call the front desk the day before to book the hotel's shuttle service; complimentary bicycle rentals are available. Service: Enthusiastic and professional. Room: The quadruple room is a bit small, the bidet was broken 🚽, but the mountain view is quite nice ⛰️. Cleanliness: Good. The restaurant and first floor didn't have the flies mentioned in other reviews, though 1 or 2 were spotted. Breakfast: Abundant, with both Chinese and Western options. The seafood congee contains shrimp, dried shrimp, and clams. Welcome snacks and cookies are available from 14:00 to 22:00 (no popcorn this time, but tea and other drinks are provided). Late-night snacks including millet congee and lemon Aiyu jelly are served from 20:00 to 22:00, and the ice cream 🍦 and soft-serve 🍦 are thumbs up 👍. Facilities: Swimming pool, spa hot springs, children's play area, and Nintendo Switch gaming consoles.

The biggest selling point is its downtown location, within walking distance to many attractions like Tiehua Village and the night market. The rooms are comfortable and feature electric curtains. There's an infinity pool on the rooftop. Parking spaces are limited, and when it's busy, the elevators can be difficult to catch (they operate with a strange logic).

I stayed for 3 days, from check-in to check-out, and received professional care. It was thoroughly relaxing and restful. Breakfast was wonderful, and I also tried the Cantonese dim sum served at the Chinese restaurant in the evening. The food was very satisfying. Coming back from Orchid Island to Taitung felt like heaven.

Staying for 4 consecutive days, the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were nice, but the lack of a bidet toilet seat was very inconvenient. At the very least, a handheld bidet sprayer should be provided. The power outlet placement was also very inconvenient. The meals were vegetarian-friendly, and parking was relatively easy. You can drive to the beach, and there's a sea view from the window.
