Tekemistä paikassa Bangkok City Pillar Shrine

Ensimmäinen varaukseni peruttiin huoltotöiden vuoksi, mutta menin silti paikalle – ja yllätyksekseni paikka olikin auki! 😂 Varasin lipun Klookin kautta paikan päällä, koska se oli halvempaa, ja lunastus sujui todella sujuvasti. Liputtomille oli pitkä jono, mutta pääsin sen ohi suoraan sisään. Ehdottomasti sen arvoista, ja varaan uudelleenkin, kun seuraavan kerran olen Thaimaassa!

Loistavaa. Söimme pohjakerroksen Babycinnos-kahvilassa. Todella hyvää ruokaa ja kohtuullinen hinta. Menimme ylimpään kerrokseen noin klo 16.30, mikä oli loistava ajankohta, koska siellä ei ollut liian ruuhkaista, joten saimme hyvän paikan auringonlaskun katseluun. Oli mahtavaa nähdä maisemat sekä päivänvalossa että yöllä. Suosittelen lämpimästi.

Since our group size that day was small—just our family of four—the travel agency assigned tour guide Coconut to look after us. Coconut was witty, sincere, and experienced, sharing a lot of Thai culture and history in simple, fluent English. When we encountered flooding in Bangkok that day, he quickly adjusted and rearranged the itinerary, showing true professional service. On the way to the railway market, he took us to explore the old market and proactively helped our family take many family photos, guiding me and my family on how to stand and pose for the best shots, which created unforgettable memories for our entire trip. Finally, he found the best route so we wouldn't get soaked, allowing us to smoothly reach the pier to see the fireflies. That night, there were plenty of fireflies, and the boatman was very patient, taking us deep into the jungle at every firefly spot to watch them slowly. It was truly an unforgettable memory and a thoroughly enjoyable day. Meeting tour guide Coconut was a real stroke of luck for us.

Emme alun perin suunnitelleet menevämme tähän akvaarioon, mutta kun tyttäreni näki sen Siam Paragonissa, hän sanoi heti haluavansa käydä akvaariossa. Ostimme liput Klookista nopeasti ja kätevästi, ja pääsimme sisään. En odottanut paljoa, koska akvaario oli ostoskeskuksessa, mutta käytyämme siellä koko perheemme oli todella vaikuttunut. Olimme kaikki yllättyneitä tästä akvaariosta; siellä oli monia kaloja, joita emme olleet nähneet muissa suurissa akvaarioissa, ja näin myös eniten haita koskaan. Kokonaisuus oli erittäin monipuolinen ja suunnittelu oli upea. Pidimme siitä todella paljon ja ostimme jopa kuvia, jotka olivat myös hienoja. Tämä oli Thaimaan matkamme paras kohde, vaikka se ei ollutkaan suunnitelmissa!

Koin upean illallisristeilyn. Siellä oli kylläkin hieman paljon ihmisiä, mutta kaiken kaikkiaan nautin kokemuksesta. Ruoka oli erinomaista ja palvelu nopeaa sekä helposti lähestyttävää. Harmillista vain, että minut jouduttiin siirtämään toiseen pöytään, koska edellinen pöytäni oli tarkoitettu vain kahdelle aikuiselle ;((.

Tämä on pakollinen aktiviteetti. Erityisesti jos olet perheen kanssa lasten kanssa. Robotin ampuminen VR:ssä on hämmästyttävää, älä sekoita sitä junalippuun. Se ei ole vuoristorata. Se on vain eräänlainen 7D-elokuva. Pääsali on hyvä.

A fun and memorable way to spend an afternoon learning how to cook my favorite thai dishes. Auntie Jib, our instructor, was very engaging, patient and funny. Even if the class was in the afternoon, her funny way made the class alive and entertaining. I appreciate her for noticing that I was left handed so on the next food we had to cook, she transferred me to a station where I can move my elbow freely. 😀 Favorite part was eating every dish we made. I cant believe I actually made them from scratch. It was delicious!! I definitely recommend taking this class to anyone who loves to cook and eat Thai food!

I've ridden almost all kinds of boats on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Usually, my favorite is the 8-baht ferry—it's great for catching the breeze and enjoying the view. Yesterday, a friend came to Bangkok and specifically requested a Chao Phraya river night cruise. After doing research for two days, we chose the newest boat on the river this year, the Super Galaxy! I was a bit nervous before setting off since it's the newest boat, worried it might not live up to the hype. But after boarding, we were simply blown away. The experience is on a completely different level from the budget ferry! We sat on the third-floor deck for the two-and-a-half-hour cruise, passing ICONSIAM, Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, and the Asiatique Ferris wheel twice. The lights reflecting on the river created such an amazing atmosphere, and you can take gorgeous photos without any filters. The buffet on board had a good variety, with unlimited salmon sushi, grilled large prawns, steak, roasted chicken, and free-flowing soft drinks. While eating, we enjoyed live band performances and traditional Thai dance shows, creating a wonderful vibe. Those who like a lively scene could also go up to the second floor for a dance party. My friends and I had an absolute blast and took tons of videos and photos. For just over 300 per person, we got to eat, drink, sightsee, and take great pictures—the value for money is really impressive!
